this would make a decent version to magnus. i don't think he has to be as large as prime, but the autobots need someone with extra muscle and ammo for the 3rd movie.

but here's a thought: megatron is practically maintaining a cybertronian form in these 2 movies. why not have an autobot do the same? i think magnus would be a decent challenge to design. just my

Heh, apparently they don't deserve unique alt modes either considering how many of them in ROTF are just friggin "repaints" of each other and/or old bot designs from TF1 with new names slapped on them.

Anyway, Decepticons can have unique alt modes, just not that shiny truck!

 

I think this alt mode would make a better Nova Prime then Ultra Magnus

 

It was already becoming obvious before that spoiler thread showed up. Grindor aka Blackout Pt.2, Scavenger/Demolisher, red & yellow versions of Rampage, etc. The spoiler thread just seemed to confirm it.

Yeah crap... I thought the Scavenger/Demolisher thing was just another mistake like the Brawl/Devastator thing from TF1. Also the red and yellow versions of Rampage just.... uggh. As for Grindor being Blackout's twin cousin, isn't that okay? Or, nah?

 

Nah. This guy's just going to be a badly done repaint of Blackout. It would make more sense to buy a 2007 Blackout and make a custom out of it. Atleast that would look okay.

Anyways, that looks way to close to Prime. I think he needs to be a Military vehicle.

 

Sucks for them in TF2 then, there are several clone constructicons running around while devastators formed, blackout appears but they never revive him, and there are random protoforms popping in and out.

No, but it's just good measure. Good guy goes, bad guy comes. Good guy comes back and kicks bad guy's ass.

 

The shiny truck in the first post would work for Nemesis in it's current colors, but a new paint job would yeild a pretty good Magnus. I have the RiD Magnus that is a car carrier, and I think that mode might work well, and they could also use him to transport the other Autobots.

 

Shouldn't it be a bit smaller and idk.... squarish?
