Now I know! I know! I know this color scheme better fits Nemesis Prime, but this truck is just way too beautiful and epic-looking. Thus, I propose that it be Ultra Magnus's alt mode. *fap*
Truck looks good but design is too similar to Movie Prime. If it were a flat cab like in G1, it would please G1 fans and separate him from Prime. Most movie-goers that are not fans would get confused if two trucks looked alike.
But don't forget what Bay said about the flat nosed trucks not yielding enough mass for a big Tformer. If they used a flat nose, Ultra Magnus would be shorter than Prime, and that won't fly.
Can you imagine an alt mode chase with Magnus hauling a freakin' trailer? That'd be sslllloooww. Bay would die of frustration. Also, Magnus wouldn't be able to make sharp turns without flipping himself over.
I dont see how any big rig is going to be much use in a chase. They're all big and slow. An alternative to the trailer idea but white and blue instead...
I really want Ultra Magnus in this filmverse, but Animated has shown he doesn't have to be a truck, since the Autobots now work closely with the Army We'll hopefully get some army vehicles like the one he took in Animated in T3 but if not, then a flat nose cab with a trailer!
Actually thats a good point. I dont like animated but I think having Magnus as some sort of aircraft could work and rather than him being a leader like Prime I'd like to see him as a commando leader. Leading the wreckers maybe or something similar. And not a benevolent pussy like he has been in previous incarnations but a badass that doesnt mind getting brutal to get the job done. Like an Autobot Dirty Harry. Ultra Callaghan? Harry Magnus?
i gotta say somthing like this its very similar to animated modern very large, fast, and bad ass and with the way the transformers are interacting with the US military would be easy for a protoform magnus to scan this bad boy... just possible change the color to a darker greyish blue and i would like
except that Magnus' whole transformation sequence involves using the trailer as his armor, which will include mass. trust me... he could end up being bigger than Prime after all was said and done.
Please read my signiture. Since movie verse can change things up a bit and I really would like Hasbro/Takara to come out with a detail accurate F-14 Tomcat ...AAAAND the Autobots need more jets I think it'd ne OK to change his format. That's my proposal.
