My PC won't play one of my games.

    So I bought a PC game like a week ago and it played fine all the way till yesterday. Now when I put the disc in it won't do anything. The PC asks if I want to autorun it and I do but then that's it, nothing. It won't even give me the option of running as an administrator. Now I tried playing another game and it worked. So what should I do? I'm not too familiar with patching games and am not even sure where to find such a thing. Any help?

    I'm using a laptop with Windows 7 and has a Dual Core Processor, if that helps. The game is Spore and the game that still works is Sims 3.

    What's the game?

    Have you installed anything since it quit working?

    Have you deleted anything since it quit working?.

    Have you restarted your computer?

    Have you run a virus check/malware check recently?
