So this is a gift for a friend not only leaving the company we both work for but also moving to London. We're basically the only two people who really know Gundam past the odd show etc so I drew him this as a good bye.
Look at it this way, he'll now have someone who can show him around London if he ever makes it over there!
Do you have an Instagram account? I used to have a DA account but haven't used that site in any real capacity for years.
So glad to see your return here. Really love your stuff and I hope to see some more if you ever get time and energy to keep it up.
So Blitz...why exactly aren't you working for a comic book studio??!! You're work is fantastic my friend!!
I actually sent a super cringe filled CV and portfolio to IDW about 13-15 years ago.... it's a shining example of everything not to say and I don't think I'll ever forget it. I'd say confidence is a huge part too I've never really felt like I was ready and I dont really feel my portfolio has the right kind of work for it. I can story board etc but comic panels require more creative thinking given the increased freedom and different goal. Also I'm in the animation biz it's much more my kind of industry... even if right now it's princesses.
You're probably my favorite artist in this fan art forum, myself included. Certainly that's not a statement I post lightly.
I love your stuff on DeviantArt, especially the OCs. I really dig your work, and eagerly anticipate your return to the transformable bots!
Wow, that is gorgeous. You might have actually just convinced me to take up drawing again. I was nowhere near your level when I quit but all it takes it dedication and practice right?
wow that's a blast from the past... really don't like those hands but i'm glad you like it! Anyways not a TF but in a similar ball park
