I don't know why I'm posting about it on a Transformers forum. I'm numb/overwhelmed/sad/depressed. I don't know how I'll get through this. She was my world. I'm 37 years old and as pathetic as it sounds, I'm not ready to go it alone. We were there for each other. RIP Mom, I'll always love you.

You're also welcome to just rant on this thread and talk as much as you want about how you're processing all this or feeling about it without directing it to any one individual

My deepest condolences. Don’t feel ashamed at all. The loss(and how lost), you feel is the impact she had on your life and the love you shared.

A part of you may seem like it is missing now because memories don’t have the same weight as the person. The difference however is made up in emotion.

In this place, never feel ashamed of expressing how you feel. The lost of a loved one is always painful but keep in mind that she'll always love you and will always be with you.

Thank you all for the kind words. It's just such a daunting task ahead of me. We lived together, she paid the majority of the bills with her retirement and social security. I would take care of smaller bills and my own. But now I have to cancel her retirement, ss, credit cards, get everything transferred to my name and it terrifies me what I'm going to do about money.

I lost my Mom almost 3 years ago. She was my favorite human being. Be patient with yourself, it will take time to adjust, but, you WILL adjust and you WILL be happy again. I knew the last thing my Mom wanted was for anyone to be sad about her passing. She told us that on plenty of occasions. I also know that she lives on inside of me and everyone who knew her. Give it time, my friend. Think of the good times you had, the things you learned from her and what you think she would like to see you do now.
