Hi everyone, Thank you for all the replys.
I plan to do a lot more to him in the way of detail, I was going to give him some light up parts, eyes and center chest, but i hadnt thought of strip lighting, I like it!
My girlfriend told me to start this thread over a month ago when i started building him, i just never got around to it.

I never thought of that! I dont know what Im going to do next.

You could just turn your shed into a model Cybertron then you'd one up yourself, and create one big display. No matter where you put your figures there on display :p

    metric > imperial :p

I love this! I think this has been in everyones head one time or another. Just to make something this big. And the finishing really proves you are a craftsman. Cause it looks gorgeous.

Now I'd say you should finish him up with some iconic details. The head chimneys, some shoulder cannons. Easy fix using PVC pipe. And maybe add some routed detail to the outside of his body.

    Good job!

Easy, just remodel the shed (or house) to look like Fort Max's city mode. Epic! :D

I brought up the idea of remodeling the house in the shape of a giant transformer with my girlfriend. She wasn't impressed.
But she said I can go nuts to the shed.

So, What did you build him out of? I was wanting to try my hand at something like this too, but I'm not sure what it is I should try to start with.

I think a giant Trypticon with a playground slide down his back would be all sorts of awesome.

Wow guys I'm blown away from all the reply to this. I was a little nervous putting up the post.
Ive been work heaps and haven't had a chance to do much to metroplex lately.
At the moment I'm trying to redo his hands. Making them bigger and giving them a litte moveablity.
Ill take some new pic's soon with all the doors off.
The worst part is even though I don't own that many Transformers they don't all fit inside him.

Oh man, this is amazing. It's like the Darth Vader toy chest from the '80 except a freakin transforming monster!

    -btw, nice collection too :)

...man... the five year olds in all of us are going crazy at the concept.

Really, a kid would go nuts over this kind of a play set...
