New episode has Discord as the focus. Always a win in my book.

One joke took me second to get, but made me groan. Discord is trying to fix his place up for Fluttershy. He scares off the living pinata he made by making some flying bats appear. It runs off with the bats chasing it. "Pinatas hate bats." Joke on the multiple meaning of the word bats. I groaned.

    Edit:
Second episode revolves around the Apple siblings' parents. Guest voice William Shatner!

Living in a pretty swanky two story home? Sunset is livin' it up! :)

Also, Sunset's confidence levels are cosmic, with her being totally cool walking out with enormous bedhead. :lol

Sometimes I wish I could sleep forever so I could have dreams like that. It's not even the skin either, it's the ambience.

I ask you guys again for help! My husband is going to Hascon and my husband is going to get me autographs from Fluttershy/Pinkie and Spike. Does anyone have any official pics or screenshots with just them on it?! Just incase they don't sell prints there.

The newest episode, "Fame and Misfortune" was a pretty great meta episode. It made multiple jabs at some of the more critical fans of the show, and got a lot of laughs out of me. Loved the song, too. :)

That right there was one of the best moments of the episode for me. I'll be honest though, this episode isn't entirely perfect, I mean it's a great call back, but I think I would have preferred seeing Princess Twilight interacting more with Toola-Roola and Coconut Cream.

Todays episode was alright. I liked Ember and Thorax, but Spike's portion was pretty weak. Also, a moment of silence for Derpy's muffin that Ember brutally murdered.

The Cutie Map is just trolling now, three years of nothing and suddenly, right when he causes a problem, it calls Spike into action. It's like an overbearing parent telling their child to 'clean up your own mess'. The best part of the episode for me was Ember, especially her problems with recognizing pony identity between Twilight and Starlight and her 'I have to tell you how I feel now!' forced discussion on feelings. It was all hilariously well done.

I can't stand Thorax being such a timid mouse though, considering he saved Equestria, not to mention the fact he's the leader of the 'Changeling Pack', why add that stupid second part to the name? That makes them sound like a damn tribe of animals or something when Changelings works much better and is quite succinct enough. Don't add words to needlessly complicate the issue.

Also, his problem sounded like a genuinely interesting premise, shoehorning it into this episode does very little service to Changelings wanting to continue the tradition of their peoples because that's how it's always been done. I would have expected that to be saved for some kind of Changeling Civil War two-part season opener or closer with references up the wazoo to Marvel Comics and other fun notions to make it all kid friendly and ratings approved. Instead it is reduced to a stupid gag.

6.5/10 for this episode, some of it really grabbed me and I did enjoy it, but other aspects fell decidedly flat due to the very nature of the potential world building being squandered here.

Would you say MLP is the best cartoon of the decade?

You already asked that question last month and the answer hasn't changed: no.

The best cartoon of the decade is still Gravity Falls.

I like the style of the packaging, along with the idea the EqG are going to the beach - it certainly isn't the vapid spin-off that people thought would happen when EqG was first shown off.

Though at the same time, I'm kinda pissed they still haven't given us Aria Blaze or Sonata Dusk in any form, especially their 'normal' clothes. We need the Dazzlings complete!

Yeah, I remember seeing Adagio at the store and thinking that they released the Dazzlings, but then got confused when I found out it was just Adagio that came out.

I'm still annoyed I can't get the three specials on blu-ray to watch. WTF Shout, seriously, WTF, I don't care about your silly DVD releases, in fact I think DVD should be abolished already even if it is cheaper to produce.

That being said, the new episode was pretty good. And those new Minis look great, a pity I can NEVER FIND ANY of the damn things when I go looking. Hasbro's distribution is crap all toylines around.
