Thanks to a heads up from a fellow board member, I nabbed the last member of the JP Dinoforce I needed to complete my set...Goryu (D-322). It appears his box is in great shape and the stickers come unapplied. There may be some gold missing from the front of the t-rex's shell, but I can live with that...I'm just tickled that I finally completed the set.

Auction closed @ 6361 yen ($57.82)...which easily fits my budget. With commission and shipping, I'll have paid more though for this one that I have the 5 others...but since this Goryu is the equivilent to the Monster Pretender Slog and is the leader of the Dinoforce I figured he'd cost me more.

Once he arrives in the mail, I set up a new photo shoot of all the boxes, shells, figures and finally Dinoking himself. Need to pull out my Monster Pretenders and Monstructor too...

Good work - I've been wanting him for a while, but could never justify shelling out the nescessary cash.

Did anyone ever do a DW style bio for him? I know that Toyfare did a bunch for the Japanese exclusives a while back, but can't remember if he was included. Monstructor's bio was one of the high points of the MTMTE series, IMHO.

 

Nice job! I was pretty happy to nab Monstructor a couple of years back, but I have to concede getting all six Dinoforcers, with their boxes, is a real commendable achievement.

I don't recall ever seeing a bio for him...even in ToyFare. I believe Doug Dlin e-mailed me a translated tech spec for Dinoking years ago...I'll have to do some digging to see if I still have it. If I do, I'll post it here.

Then be prepared to hate me even more as that is exactly what I plan to do once Goryu arrives!   I've got several items in Rinkya's warehouse at the moment, so I'm having to do multiple ship requests to get all the goods to me here in the good ol US of A. It might be close to a month before I get 'em, but rest assured I will have a comparison gallery of Dinoking vs. Monstructor and their respective shells eventually.
