Unfortunately, the ones that touch such places are the ones that give FF it's notoriety, letting the good ones generally slip by unnoticed.

My own FF series has really given me confidence to write my own stuff (though I want to finish the series first). In fact the last two stories are purely mine own in design and plot with OCs, just using the first three as a foundation for them (though even in the first three, I still did things and added plot lines that never happened in the original franchises.)

 

Another thing, I did not think that Sam and Mikela made a believable couple, I always saw it that she just got together with him because he was friends with giant robots who could turn into vehicles (especially a nice concept Camaro).

While in DOTM, there was a little character building at the beginning that showed that Carly did actually care about Sam and not what he had done.

 

My own fanfics popularity inspired me to plan to write my own novel add to that reviewers who said I should write a book as they really liked my fics especially my Star Wars horror stories and my Transformers AU psychological drama crossover fic.

 

I thought Mikaela and Sam were a believable couple. That's part of what makes me not like the third film.

They could have had Mikaela and Sam still together just recast the role of Mikaela after Megan Fox was fired or explain her lack of on screen presence by saying Mikaela was injured in a Deception attack before the film and left in a medically induced coma or something like that.

 

Same here, I have had reviewers tell me that they are looking forward to my first novel, but they do want me to finish my Fanfic series first. And I agree, because there is one thing that happens alot in FF, and that is that writers usually never finish their stories. So I definitely want to finish my own (which right now is my sixth and final story in nearly two years of writing.)

 

I finish all of my fics as well no matter what. Even if I don't write anything on it for over a year.

 

Let me tell you something buster, my cousin is a professional fiction writer who writes Transformers fan fiction. Guess what, she was discovered as a writer BY her fan fiction! So learn some respect shall we!

 

I would love to start planning my novel now, even tried to a few months back. But...yeah, can't do it while I am still writing my Fanfic series. So that will wait.

Speaking for myself, I don't buy many IP-based books because they read like fan fics.

 

Right now it's still in the planning stages. But it is a crime story in which a former police detective is forced to play a game by a serial killer he failed to catch and as the detective goes after the killer he learns that the killer is connected to a group of people who have plans for America.

The Transformers fanfic I plan to write is set after DOTM and before AOE in which the fates of several human characters from the trilogy are shown and what happens to them after AOE.

Among the characters will be Sam, Lennox, Mikaela and maybe a few others.

 

How many more stories are you planning or are you on the last one now?

 

When I said she was discovered by her fan fiction I just meant that is where her first publisher found her NOT that she wrote Transformers professionally

 

I don't think I will ever stop writing fanfics as a hobby.

I might write only 1 story on this plot idea. The working title is Transformers: Vengeance.

 

My series is called 'Prime Effect'

A friend once told me that once I started writing that I would not be able to leave it at just one..... and she was right, so I will also write others too later on down the line.
