How about a dramatic scene for Sam?

He's in a graveyard... Looking at 2 tombstones...crying.... It turns out to be his parents, then you hear a car pull up not so far from Sam....its bumblebee! Sam looks up with tears rolling down his face....he stands up slowly... Walks over to Bee and says "I thought I lost you as well..." bee replies "I'm going nowhere, Sam!". Sam tells Bee what's happened to him while the Autobots were being hunted... It turns out cemetery wind found them and shot his parents because he wouldnt tell them anything about Bee, we then find out Carly was murdered by Lockdown! Sam got away because Wheelie tried distracting them....but he died. When they caught up to Sam, Lockdown and Cemetery Wind get a call about a truck in Mexico. They left Sam alive so he'll be traumatized from his parents and wife's deaths....and he'll always remember the price he got for defending "aliens".

Bee's and Sam's relationship grows and Sam apprentices Bee a lot more since he's all what Sam has left.

I'd just give him a cameo as the transformers government liason and explain that Kelsey Grammer had him and Carly locked up during AoE. Then a cameo of Leo now a successful kitten calender mogul.

Yeah bee and Sam reconnect. And Sam discovers bumblebee has been guarding Shane and gets jealous. And while we are at it, I know she didn't really have much of a character, but seeing as how they were in two films together, I think mikaela should come back. It's be funny if bee finds mikaela first and they go looking for Sam together

Bee "what the f***"
Brains "looks like you just got back from the kiddy park, Sam!"
Sam "oh brains. I'll slap you silly if you don't shush"
Brains "I bet you did some slapping"

None of this makes any sense. Cemetery Wind was willing to kill for Optimus, because he was, no pun intended, the prime target. They are not going to risk exposure and have to cover up a double homicide over a mere foot soldier. Lockdown seems like he did things for a purpose, to advance his goals. Why would he murder an innocent woman just to torment who knew an Autobot for a few years? What is Sam's purpose? Is it just to make the audience feel sad? There needs to be a good reason for him to come back.

 

Cemetery wind was going to kill Tessa, who's to say they didn't do it to someone else before?

No more Sam.

 

Its a good idea but I would rather not have him come back. Mostly because Cade has already got me more "attached" to the character.

 

Does anybody even care about Sam anymore?

Like, seriously, the entire gimmick of his character in DOTM was him trying to fit himself back into the events around the Autobots again. And that indirectly is what led to the entire population of Chicago getting vaporized.

Let bygones be bygones and keep Shia out of the films.

 

Like I said, to get Optimus Prime. The main target. If they murdered a husband and wife they would risk being exposed for a common foot soldier.
