Been looking into making custom drum kits for a few years now, but never had the funds really. Finally picked up Pearl EX kit for cheap and did some minor mods to come up with a walking dead themed kit. I like the black on black shells and hardware. Made the custom skins using a local sign shop which I think came out nice. I'd like to add more to it but not sure what else I could do really. Id like to sell it but I think it would need a bit more dome to it. My next project I want to do a little more work, I wanna build animals drum set from the muppets.
I'm diggin it. The hands on the bottom tom skins are awesome. Nice work! Animal's set would be sweet.
Good work I'm actually in the process of repainting my first guitar, so nice to see someone else here doing something like that. My drumset's a Roland V-Drum Kit, so can't do much there.
