Since I don't intend on spending more for accessories than I did for the toy itself.. I read about someone doing a fan mode on him before, but couldn't find any pics so I tried to come up with something myself Silverbolt's rifle just seemed a natural fit.
I couldn't find a thread with those pics. That's exactly what I'm trying to do, only with Silverbolt's rifle in place of the sword. The sword makes him look too close to Voltron IMO.
So, there's a way of getting him so he has actual fists instead of those clear plastic hands? How is it done?
I seriously have less of an issue with the short arms than the fact that he has no visor over his face. I'll make a visor soon enough. Oh, also- The thread you were looking for was the Superion Feedback thread.
just look at how the arms are done its really quite easy to do. though with mine it makes him a little hard to stand those heels dont do much without the plates, but I dont have both plates. I have to lock the wings on the 2 jets together for him to stand up right
That was why I left the plates on mine. Sure, he looks like he's wearing shoes, but so did G1 Superion.
I wish I could be as easily satisfied with this but after seeing it on mine in person it falls way way short.
Good idea, but with the Energon weapons on the feet, he looks a bit like he's wearing sandals. That would bother me. I don't mind the Energon weapons in general, but I REALLY like the alternate transformation with the arms there. It makes everything self-contained, which is a big plus for me when it comes to combiners.

yea he stands up better with the plates but as I said mine is missing the 2nd one. and with those pics I never understood why the Superlink version has clear purple plastic instead of the accurate (and better looking imo) clear blue plastic
Yeah, Smogs version is how I have mine displayed now. But its just temporary until the upgrade arrives
