If you're trying to put them in chronological order, that's cool. They were broadcasted out of order and it's easy to find the broadcast order.
I always thought Ghost in the Machine took place immediately after Starscream's Ghost. Starscream goes into Scourge at the end of Starscream's Ghost and he's still there at the beginning of Ghost in the Machine, isn't he?
Yes and no. Both season 3s' airdate and prod. number sequence are chronologically impossible. Not sure what the recent Shout set did, but they arranged their own sequence for the Rhino release that I have here, for the third season anyway. And it works fine for the most part. [ Kinda funky how they have Rodimus "getting his groove back" in "The Ultimate Weapon" and immediately after we see him bitching about it in "Big Broadcast of 2006" or how, I said this recently in another thread, Grimlock's lack of refinement goes from being something so frowned-on in "Grimlock's new brain" to immediately being the celebrated thing that saves the day in "Call of the primitives". These things get smoothed out in my sequence.] In the spots that needed rearranging a lot of times there was something wonky with the production # sequence vs. the airdate sequence. No 111 between 110 and 112, yet 109 features characters created in 110. Or 106 taking place before, yet having a production number and airdate much later than, 95 and 96 which were flipped for the original airdate. Getting back to the issue, I just decided to continue doing what I had been; lining them up in production number order and only making tweaks if it was either absolutely necessary or actually accomplished smoothing something out. The Starscream thing. We do see him enter Scourge [or at least a Sweep] at the end of "Starscream's Ghost", yet we also see him [definitively] enter Scourge, at another time and place, at the start of "Ghost in the machine". The fact that there was a good deal of episodes aired between the two, combined with how long it takes the Decepticons to actually figure out that Scourge is possessed by Starscream-[They would have JUST dealt with this. Now they have Scourge suddenly acting completely out of character but they're convinced for the longest time that he's a traitor and has run off to join the Autobots]-suggests that the intent was some time had passed and that Starscream's Ghost had been lurking around in the interim. In the effort to keep the production number sequence intact, and since allowing for the time passed between the two made MORE sense to the overall flow than sticking them together, in other words nothing necessitated them being viewed sequentially, I left them as they were. Unfortunately that leaves three goofy solo Daniel adventures in a row but hey... You like them back to back? That's fine. They work just fine that way too, I'm not saying right or wrong about anything.
The episode of the Combaticon being created was aired after they had already appeared in the cartoon. You put all the episodes in the right order. Good job.
I like that you put Possession in before Spider's Game. I always have a "what the-" moment when Tarantulas freaks out and says, "if we're here, then our base is unprotected!" I would be like, "what about Inferno, you fool?" Have you thought about putting Power Surge in a different spot. In that episode, Megatron proudly proclaims, "I thought you already learned your lesson about challenging me, Terrorsaur?" Which hearkens back to Blackarachnia's debut in Double Jeopardy, after his "glorious reign." Writer-wise, I think it was an off screen comment to somehow, somebody told Megatron that Dinobot and Terrorsaur were going to team up in Equal Measures, against both Megatron and the Maximals in between episodes, but that seemed weird. Dinobot didn't even tell Optimus, "oh yeah, I just flushed Terrorsaur out of the garbage disposal unit." If Power Surge were later, it would fall into the "missing Blackarachnia" statement at the end of the episode in Double Jeopardy, as well. Out of curiousity, why is Dark Designs swapped with Victory?
Its kind of funny, the titles of the cartoons from america and the titles from japan. It goes from names like "rebirth" and "quest for survival" to "Cybertron is in grave danger!"
It's listed in airdate order, with the second number just reflecting that order, rather than the production number. It aired 18-Spider's Game 19-Call of the wild 20-Dark voyage 21-Possession but I always swapped those two due to the lack of Inferno in Dark Voyage and Possession. Come to find out swapped is the correct production number order! So those two sets are swapped but not swapped. The first ten are ALL over the place production number wise the way they aired [1, 2, 6, 4, 3, 8, 5, 7, 9]. I left them in airdate order because they pretty much work that way and it kept things looking a little neater number wise. I tried them in airdate order using production numbers, tried arranging them all kinds of ways, and the numbers just looked ugly. I was having trouble with exactly how to arrange stuff keeping in mind Cheetor's mapping of the surrounding Energon deposits and their long-range communication problems; Cheetor got Rhinox's comm. device going in Equal Measures but still has to "run home" to report the news about Terrorsaur in Power Surge. Power Surges' production number actually puts it right after Double Jeopardy, so yeah that makes sense. Putting the other early ones in production number order actually seems to work better too now that you got me looking at it again. I think I'll do that, I'm just so used to the airdate order as I'm sure many are. I just like to get Victory as far from The Probe as possible. They aired one right after another and it's like, does Megatron want to leave or doesn't he? But putting them in production number order creates the issue of having Gorilla Warfare and Dark Designs back to back. Same essential story, different characters. I think I can switch everything to production number order and it'll work fine.

Huh? Inferno was leading, or at least in the aerial attack at the beginning, and it was his "blender-butt" that was spinning after the "fart heard 'round the world" that Waspinator fell on top of. Cool! Where are you are getting the production number information from? True, but really he was preventing Cybertron from rescuing the Maximals before his plans could be completed, or until he was the victor of the Beast Wars, as he said. And in Victory, he wanted the ship to get the stasis pods, but they would be of little use to him in space, so he'd have to land and choose alternate forms for them based on the most powerful local creatures, not to mention get them all to start strip mining the planet of Energon. Wow, could you imagine if he had succeeded? He would've put Magmatron's (IDW comics version) plans to shame! Yeah, that was the original problem of having Call of the Wild being before Dark Voyage. If you watch those two like that, you left with wondering if the Maximals really learned anything in Call of the Wild about how useful their Beast Modes were.

Fifty different people will arrange these fifty different ways. I was more concerned with keeping them in production number order than coming up with my own order.
