Heres a neat little mod i did with my Crankcase... I cut off his dreadlocks with a dremel, repositioned them a little higher and then moved them a more little closer to his head. Thats something that always bugged me after i saw Dark Of The Moon (how the dreadlocks were positioned - transformation perposes? pfft i did this and he transforms fine!) ...Well its simple i give you that but to me it adds alot more accuracy to the figure! Please let me know what you think! PS- Crankcase has a missing arm because i'm painting it. Either that or Sideswipe cut it off Good thing i bought another Crankcase! Just because i love this figure so much...my Crowbar kitbash is coming soon
Sure man, heres some more for ya that I took just now. Some nice Macro shots: Hopefully these shall give you guys a better look on how i did mine. I think i'm gonna fill the back of his head with epoxy just to cover up the illusion of them being glued behind his horns heh... Simples
Thanks for the new pics - really does make a difference! By the way, why has nobody considered using some type of cord for Crowbar's dreads? Thin rope would be infinitely more flexible than plastic or wire, so it would transform easier & with the space you'd save, you could keep park of Crankcase's claws to hold the cord up in alt mode...
Cheers I'll be sure to mention that you were the one who came up with that idea...when i get the chance to work on him of course
