Yesterday shortly before I got off work, my dad had passed away. We didn't get notified till I gotten home that evening, 65 years old heart failure was the cause so far what we was told. He wasn't the best father, but we did have good times when we did. He was in a senior living home as he lost part of his leg last year due to an infection and suffering a heart attack back in 2019. He wasn't able to take care of himself much but was improving a little. I hadn't seen him in a few months, but I know he's resting with his family now. I remember us going to see all the transformers movies when they came out, and having a good times before the leg loss. But best remember the good times and not the bad. Keep on moving in life and live it well.
Very sorry for your loss. It's never easy when you lose your dad. All the best to you and your family.
I’m real sorry, man! It’s tough getting old. And lots of us here on this site are getting to that point in our lives where we have to deal with this kind of loss. You said it best: remember the good times and lead a happy life with the rest of yours.
May he rest in peace. There is something very special about the times we shared with our fathers watching movies together.
