So I was perusing my local comic shop the other day and went to look at their transformers display case. They had an FP Thundershred for $25. Botcon Ginrai $25 2006 Optimus Prime $25 PE Leonidas wasn't priced yet, still in box There were much more, mostly things from Car Robots/RID, Beast Wars, and G1. Would any of these be worth purchasing to flip? I know they're cheap but idk the demand for on these figures either.
Sounds like they're selling that stuff insainly cheap. If you can find anything on my most wanted list I'll pay you an extra $5 profit for anything you can pick up. In other words whatever you have to pay to get the item plus another 5 on top of that. And I mean $5 per item have not in total. So if you get two things it'll be an extra $10 and so on. Just don't exceed my $50 spending limit. For everything you buy add 5 to it, that's how much I'm paying in total and I can't afford to go over $50.
Would love to know what prices they've got on Car Robots/RiD, especially Super Sideburn, the trainbots, and Brave Max.
Unless he's in Japan I kinda doubt a Brave Max figure would pop up at an American shop considering it's even legal in the U.S. He failed the drop test so Hasbro was never able to release a RID figure. Only the Takara Car Robots toy line got him. Toy safety laws aren't as strict over seas.
I know it's a long shot. I got a Korean release from BBTS way back when. Most of the big unit survived storage, but i'm trying to get replacements however I can. Will probably have to hit up a con, but never know what's selling (probably reselling) at a local comic shop.
So either I misread the fire guts convoy/Ginrai or he was repriced. He's $70 Devcon didn't have a price, Ferak was $35. Leonidas in box was $130. I'm going back this weekend after I get paid to try and pick some of them up. I can take pictures then. You can believe me or not, I couldn't care less. I bought Thundershred already so I can take a picture of him and his box. They take other collectibles too (obviously) but apparently only one guy there will look through the trade-ins.
Damn I was hoping the prices were going to stay low. That's about more what I was expecting now. And yeah if there's only one guy who checks trade in's it's likely whoever priced them the first time didn't know what he had. That one guy probably came in and bumped up all the prices. He should probably just tell his employees not to sell anything until he checks it. Who knows how much stuff already got sold on the cheap before someone came in and realized they were being priced insainly low.
