    Ebay:
GOOD NEWS for fans and collectors!

I have acquired the parts necessary to make duplicates of the Hoist and Trailbreaker customs, so I will be listing the both of these on Ebay tomorrow morning. I know this will make a lot of people happy from all the different boards based on the feedback I have received over these two customs.

Keep your eyes peeled tomorrow, because they'll be going on Ebay shortly after I wake up!

    Take care,

    -Gregg

    Ebay:
I love them both, but Hoist is flawless. The G1 oversized head is perfect, and the A-Smokescreen hook is the perfect compliment. This is what Alt Prime should have been done as in the first place. Great job on both.

that's a g1 hoist head. I've got one on mine too. it's great to get a reissue hoist for about 15 dollars, and use the head and weapons for alt. hoist and trailbreaker.

    Ebay:
Final Day for Alternators Hoist and Trailbreaker

I was able to secure my Hoist head from www.Transformerland.com

For much cheaper than buying outright a reissue Hoist. =)

I wanted to let everyone know that the auctions for Trailbreaker and Hoist are on their final day and at this point have less than 13 hours to go.

    Take care,

    -Gregg

I'm impressed......Hoist is going for $234.49. Last time I saw an Alt. repaint go for this much it was my Alt. Ultra Magnus.

Can't believe they went for so much. Not to say they aren't great customs, they are, but geez, that's pretty crazy money for one figure! It sucks being so poor :(

Congrats on all the buzz you're getting. The toys really do look nice.

Wow, $202.50 for TrailerBreaker and $410.00 for Hoist.

That is a pretty nice profit off some repaints/remolds of $20 toys.

Yeah, those prices are too rich for my blood, especially for a 20 dollar toy. No offense, I know these customs take a lot of work, but that is too much, imo.

Sodawilly, nice work on the customs and the sale, I think you've convinced me to do my own custom Hoist to go with my Trailbreaker.

I'm suprised that Hoist went for twice as much, but I can see there is a lot more work involved on that.
My only suggestion on your next versions is to include the G1 gun hand weapons and shoulder scanners.

In general I'm not surprised at the prices. I spent close to $150 just in parts and materials to create my TB, but I did use a Nemesis Prime and I paid a premium for orginal G1 weapon parts. And that doesn't include the many hours I spent perfecting every little detail. Considering I get paid about $35 an hour at my real job, hourly labor can add up.
I was offered $250 straight up for my TB custom when I posted it, but I haven't started doing commisions, yet. I would expect to get $300-400 on ebay if I put one up for sale.

yeah, congrat-u-f-ing-lations! I know I spent a ton of time on my hoist, but I think $400 is the breaking point where I'd be like, sure, I'll take it. and $200 isn't too bad for your trailbreaker. although I think you actually used a regular optimus and painted it black, didn't you? I used a nemesis prime, which may have cost me $45, but was well worth it not having to spend the time painting the whole guy black. good job :thumb
