Very impressive collection! Wish I had the floor space to do the same. That's a lot of dusting......haha

That would be the speaker head released about four years ago, that also had a limited number of bodies to go with it. Basically it is a speaker tower, with the speakers being in the head, and the rest of it is just a soft plastic, empty frame.

With the next milestone now reached (a few days ago), of 6,000 different "playable" Transformers toys (plus 416 figurines and model kits), I've done another milestone video, to give a quick look at the 44 display cases that I have at the moment (an extra six since the 30th birthday postings at the end of 2015, in the beginning of this topic).

    2015 display cases...

I hope you have a fire extinguisher at least in your house in case of emergencies.

I'm wondering what a figure is in your 1st display case shelf 2. Blue, white, yellow jet bot. I think I had it as a kid or remember seeing but can't remember what it is.

Wow, it will be a museum someday...
What's good is that we can only have a tiny collection when we see that one ...

That's the playskool jet bot - Jet-kun - Transformers Wiki

I did as a kid but lost it. If I'd known how valuable it would become I would have made sure I didn't lose it... as I'd love to have one but they go for hundreds on ebay.

That is way beyond a collection! It’s like an encyclopedia of TF toy history. That is beyond insane. Thanks for sharing the pics, descriptions and insights.

At what point in your collecting life did you make the decision to try to assemble a complete set? I can only imagine the time required to research, locate and acquire everything. And, do you have a plan for the future of your collection? A museum, perhaps?
