Found this on the Transformers At The Moon FB page, apparently it contains a sample of the audio taken from the original Sunbow Productions unslugged cassette tape. The audio is from the opening act and contains two extended pieces of dialogue and the audio for a scene that was removed from the final cartoon production where Ratchet repairs Bumblebee.

The missing scene is between Wheeljack and Bumblebee with the first extended dialogue also between the two with the second being Soundwaves.

Yeah it's an audio snippet taken from one of the studios unslugged cassettes for More Than Meets The Eye - Part 1 which we've put up as an example of the material, quality and to share the recorded dialogue for the cut and deleted scenes. We'll be sharing additional audio over the coming weeks and months as we work through the tapes and other material.

The description contains a transcript of the dialogue to highlight the additional scene and extended dialogue. You may notice the missing "after them!" which wasn't part of the run through.

For anyone wondering "slugs" refer to the gaps added between dialogue so that the dialogue itself lines up with the timings on the storyboards. So an unslugged tapped doesn't have these and is more of a continuous piece of audio.

You'll also hear Wally Burr around the 40 second mark giving direction.

 

This is pretty awesome! I especially loved hearing brand new lines from Chris Latta and Don Messick. Thanks for posting this and I can't wait to hear more audio.

So far a few tapes have proven to be ... interesting. One has the G.I.Joe episode Jungle Trap on the B-side, another turned out to be Muppet Babies S01E01 Noisy Neighbors, so the labels are not exactly accurate

someone really needs to create the EXTENDED EDITION of this episode by splicing in the audio and using old cartoon footage and music and spliceing it all together to make this episode complete !

 

Well that won't quite work as you'll find out in the next week when pt2 goes up with more scenes from this episode  

 

so some of the scenes contradict the original story then ?

Well you could still easily use the clip above and insert it into the episode

we need all these scenes and we need to put togther a 3d animation team togther to remake g1 in 3d and then just copy over the audio from the 80s

Anyone ever heard if the deleted scenes were ever animated or not?
I'm of the belief that they were because in Season 3 during one of those "Secret Files of Teletraan II" segments they show some footage of Scamper and Slammer that were never in any of the episodes.
