So just out of sheer curiosity I decided to try out customizing a figure. Since TR Getaway might as well be a blank canvas, I tried to give him the color scheme he deserves. I also tried to color the Titanmaster to look more like his G1 Powermaster, but he ended up looking more like his own thing. I think it turned out pretty well. I'm not sure what to do about the alt mode yet, so all the paint apps are only visible in robot mode. This is my first ever custom, and I was working with what limited resources I had. Any and all feedback is appreciated!

 

Very nice details. I can see a great custom behind this, but I suggest maybe thinning your paints. You've got a careful hand and some fantastic ideas, but check how to make your paints thinner or use masking and spray paint/an airbrush.

If the original had that color layout, I might have liked it a bit more. That looks much better, although the paint is a bit thick.

As someone still trying to get the hang of repainting, I find myself doing this sometimes too.

 

Excellent color and color layout choice!

 

I haven't done anything about the vehicle mode outside of painting the tires black and the rims silver. I'm not sure what I really wanna do with it yet.
