So, since these comics are just begging to be re-read over and over again, I'm going to hazard a guess for Fort Max's alt. mode A tracked heavy artillery cannon. That big-ass cannon he totes? It's the main gun of his tank mode. I figure that it looks similar to the WWII supergun Gustav.
IIRC, those weren't attached at the time. Still, I want either a leader or ultra class toy with the alt. mode idea of a railway-cannon sized tank.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, When Maketoys Mobaine comes out that is going to make one kick ass Fort Max, just needs a new head and chest, some guns in the legs and he'll be perfect.
I think leg guns were only added after his resurrection though. So pre-LSoTW FM might not turn into the same thing as MTMTE FM.
That wouldn't make sense, since Trailbreaker talked about his leg guns like they were a famous defining attribute, and he hasn't used them once since he was brought back.
Why? You're the one that suggested something that goes against the evidence. Is there a rule saying if you have guns on your legs they can't be used as part of a tank/artillery mode? How about he turns into a tank with multiple guns on him. There, problem solved.
Um, thanks for backing up my idea. Also, it'd make sense for a big artillery tank like him to have AP point-defense weapons.
Some kind of a super-tank that's less of a tank and more of a base on treads sounds about right for me - after all, his name is Fortress Maximus! Kinda like Grandus, but with a turret?
The writers would tell you that he had the guns when he fought at Simanzi, which happened at an undetermined time before Last Stand of the Wreckers, and most likely even before the first time we ever see him in IDW. Nothing to take up.
