Alex Milne confirmed just now that the fembots besides Firestar and Nautica are in fact entirely new characters and have nothing to do with the combiner wars set for those wondering.

Nope. Milne confirmed on Facebook that they're not part of the Victorion combiner.

 

This would have been decided months ago...if not a year. James plans FAAAAAR ahead. I think he has an idea for issue 100 already

Looks like Nautica's homies who stayed on the Vis Vitalis are celebrating seeing her again.

 

Maybe it is Strika?

I mean, Strika was one of the greatest Autobot generals in Cybertron history originally, before being reformatted into a Vehicon.

Probably isn't Strika, but is cool. And the mono-eyed-dome-head one is freaky but cool.

Did he name nautica perhaps? Could it comment be a fun red herring and the big gal be strika? Making strika and Firestar the 2 he didn't name.

Actually, I'd call the winners of the popularity contexts expected, because they're popular. They would've done something else if something else won, but... well, popular stuff winning, no shock.


And the actual stuff based on the results of the poll have long leadtimes, plenty of time to do it after the results, and like the others have noted that doesn't include this, which is unrelated.

Victorion'll premier in the Combiner Hunters one-shot.

Not to mention, Roberts would get burnt out. And the artists!

 

Somehow I think Firestar is far too smart for him.
