Did anyone actually get this? I didn't see any on Ebay and I know there was a mix up at Diamond with the RI cover. I can't seem to locate a copy. Any help is appreciated. Also still looking for that damned #19 RI.

 

Apparently orders for #29 sub were filled with #29 RI, and vice versa, so the Matere RI cover will be quite common and the Roche sub one will be less so.

 

You and Me both Pal on that 19. I have been told I have a better chance at winning the lottery, than I do of Finding MTMTE 19 C Nick Roche 1:25 Retail Incentive Variant.

 

mycomicshop.com has some in stock. Their listings say "RI misprinted as SUB" but still say the cover was by Matere. Similarly they have the RI listed as "SUB misprinted as RI" and miscredits the cover to Roche.

They have both covers in stock. I don't know which one of the two you'd buy to get the actual sub cover, though. I found my 29 sub on ebay the day after release, and have since to find another one anywhere other than mycomicshop.com

 

One of the reasons for this could be that the MTMTE Sub cover by Nick Roche that is now being shipped in 1:10 ratio did not come out on the same day as the regular and Matere cover. My local comic shop said they just got the Roche sub cover in 2 days back, so it could be the case elsewhere and then you'll see the same quantity on eBay as you do of the normal 1:10 incentives.

Yes the 19 RI was the hardest for me to get, it ended up being 1:25 and I believe (to my knowledge) there have been just 2 on eBay which were snapped up immediately. One the week of release and one just a couple of months back.

Of the 1:10 variants I think 12RI is pretty difficult too, the Coller Sgt pepper cover.

I did just go out and picked up the last SUB cover copy of 29 from my local store.

You let me know how much it would take for that 19 to go from your collection to mine, and you would have a paypal faster than ever before.

I am missing MTMTE 19 RI, and Ongoing #22 RI from my Collection, those are proving to be way harder to find than MTMTE 12.

 

No good on Mycomicshop.com. I ordered one with special instructions that I wanted the Nick Roche Megatron one not the RI with Prime and the rest. Placed the order. A few hours later, the order got cancelled. I guess, I'll try my local shop. Thanks fellas. Also, I'm another soul who still needs that RI 19 if anyone ever comes across one in their travels. Will pay good $$.

If using Mycomicshop, there are a few of us looking for that issue. Your local comic shop should be able to order the sub copy within the 1st week for you. If you don't find one I will keep an eye localy.

I watch ebay daily for my own sales and purchases, if I see one come up I can notify you.  

I appreciate it. Trying to collect Transformers in any medium is stressful at times, and others expensive. Being the only issues I cannot get a look at, these will cost me. SO keep that in mind when presenting said ludicrous offer that I will gladly pay.

Ont he subject of 22, as far as I have been able to tell, the SDCC version is the same as the RI Sketch wrap around Megatron, just released 1 week or so earlier at the con. I have been in contact with so many shops, and have so many people looking for both those issues for me, it is insane. I did meet a knowledgeable individual who found 22 RI and Sketchbook variants (Covers C and D) were not on the typical coding via Diamond distibutors. They had a separate solicit ID and why many places have no record of there ever being an RI issue for 22. Strange.....

 

if you look at the UPC of each comic it shows the order of covers, notice the last 2 digits

regular cover is 11
retail incentive is 21
subscription is 31

I couldn't find the issue 12 incentive, at least that was available on ebay, issue 19 is impossible, no where in Singapore or online and it's just a picture of a helmet!

I hope 29 is more accessible, I'll consider it a naughty cover, just look at where Meg's hands are.  

 

Correct except diamond did not have it right for July 2011 Solicits, and why most online comic shops show no record of there even being an RI cover.

 

Now, I'm not sure which one you'd have to order because of the mix up whether that means if you ordered an RI you'd end up with a Sub or if its as the title says, so I'll post both links,

They have international shipping which, to Australia at least, wasn't bad if you bought multiple comics.

What im getting at if you go by those UPC (and comics have been going by this formula for years) it means

Regular is cover 1
RI is cover 2
Subscription is cover 3

BTW here are the Diamond codes for the MTMTE #29 with these codes any comic shop can order that specific cover for you

MAR140419 Subscription Cover
MAR140420 RI Cover

 

But they can't as there was a printing error that swapped the Sub and RI covers. I run a comic shop in the UK and so far I've received the RI cover in the quantity of what I ordered the Sub cover in, but only have 1 Sub so far, when I should have more.

More of the Sub cover are listed on my invoice for next week, so I'll see what I actually receive.

That is correct! Although I haven't yet received the correct number of Sub covers, so who knows what's really going on. Basically, if you want the Sub cover, good luck.

 

What I was referring to is that Issue 22 July 2011 of the ongoing did NOT follow that normal coding. The RI and Sketchbooks have their own UPC.
