Just bought MS-01W and MS-01B this weekend to go with my MS-01 metallic version... can't wait for them to arrive!!

 

Anyone want to sell the clear blue windows ( not the damaged ones ) from the original, metallic or transparent? Or has anyone had luck contacting them for replacement windows.

 

Anyone already checked with TCP about their preorder? I messaged earlier, but haven't heard anything back as of yet. Was wondering if anyone else has been more successful.

 

Anyone know where I can get an original or metallic version for under $250? I'm still kicking myself for not getting this guy at the beginning.

 

If I'm happy with my KO MP44 when it gets here I'll sell you mine for less than that.

 

I asked them the same question back in July and the response I got was "We have not received confirmation at this time if the reissue has been cancelled or updated release date from Magic Square. Hopefully we will get an update soon. Please let us know if you have any additional questions."

 

Thanks for that. Frankly it sounds like wasted time since they never updated any release info on the page this much later down the road.

 

I managed to snag an MS-01X off ebay last night. Cost more than original retail, but still well under $200 with shipping/tax. I'm hoping it looks as good in hand as it does in pics and videos.

 

I saw that one too, glad you got it and will love it. I got an earlier one with Best Offer ( although a bit more than $200 since that was the only one on ebay ) and I think he does look great.

 

Thanks! I'm still thinking about painting the gunmetal chest and truck stripes silver, depending on how dark they look in-hand.

General question for anyone, are the red parts of the metallic version any different from the regular version? They don't look very different in the pics. Is it more of a thin metallic glaze like MP-36?

Got one bought from nomolos on the forums here, just waiting for him to come in. Always have liked mp10, so this is a good compromise w/o being over-toon.

 

If you shave down those clips at the bottom of the windows, you can close the chest with the bumper rotated to hide the matrix chamber.


So far I've painted the face and chest stripes silver. Still have silver trim and highlights to paint in both modes, but I'm pretty happy with him so far.

 

I added more silver details, colored the leg vents gunmetal, and added reflective vinyl over those orange headlights. Not going for cartoon accuracy, obviously - just a better MP-10.

 

*So I got impatient and ended up ordering MS-01W White from 2 different sources  . First one arrived already and the 2nd one just arrived.......and now I have an extra one.

Anyone in the US interested in it?

Been customizing mine... Going for the the 80’s screen accurate look for the most part. Just finished the panel lining. Needs to be sealed

 

I just received MS-01B and it's missing the gun and the energon axe handle is bent so it won't fit in his hand, anyone else experience this? Is there a way to contact Magic Square?

 

Good luck with that... I tried getting a hold of their contact info a while back with absolutely no luck once so ever

 

I'd guess a little hair dryer work could fix the axe. dunno about replacement gun. is tabs similar enough that an aftermarket mp10 gun could do the job?

 

I would contact the seller. You will probably have better luck that trying to reach Magic Square directly.

I have an MP10 upgrade kit up for sale right now.

I can see if the gun fits MS-01.
