Technically Transformers are all naked anyways.

Except for DOTM Megatron and his hobo cloak.

Does super armour count as clothes? Like PMP's Trailer? If it doesn't count as clothes, does that mean Prime's dismembered when he's not in super mode? o_O

Yes it is Zeta Toys version. I painted the head to look more like the g1 toy.

Transformed it for the first time. The arms were finicky and did not got together/come together smoothly. I'm sure it will go better in the future, the tolerances are not amazing.
As much as I like the robot form/mode, it does feel like they just didn't try very hard with the back end/legs. Overall, it still looks pretty decent, but it does not feel very solid and panels/parts move around and out of place if I handle it or pick it up. TE-01 is the opposite, feeling like a block of metal and dense plastic, and very solid when in vehicle mode. Have to say, I was a little disappointed I did not enjoy the transformation more. Much easier than TE-01, but just doesn't feel thinks fit in place as well and it just does not feel like the designer(s) tried very much with the back/bottom half.

Yeah, I doubt mine will ever get to alt mode.

Well, it's not like the alt mode is much worse than MP-10. The cab part looks significantly better. It needs a trailer to cover the rear of it, though.

In general, yes the cab is better in a static state than MP-10. My MS-01 also rolls alot better than my MP-10. MP-10 is heavier and feels more substantial. It just bugs me that the back end/legs feel like an after-thought and a missed opportunity for a more total package. I really like the figure, just noting areas where there could have been improvements.

As I said awhile back, MS-01 is much easier to transform if you don't follow the steps as they're printed in the instructions, because his bicep is tight and pushing his arm into the cab tends to leave it slightly misaligned. Instead, do the arms first. Once you unfurl everything from inside his arm tab the panel in place on his forearm and his bicep. Now, you can fold his arms back and swing the arm into the cab and the tabs will keep everything aligned, so everything should stay together more solidly.

Yeah, learned this the hard way this afternoon. Thought I was going to break something at one point. The elbow section is not a great design, imo.

Wonder if a shapeways adapter could be made to fit the mp10 trailer. It was confirmed not to fit, right?

I can't see how it would be possible as mp-10's trailer sits too high on MS.

We just need to jack up the trailer's back tandem wheels ike they did in the Fast & Furious movies so the lowered cars could fit under the trailers, lol...

In some ways the alt mode is pretty impressive if you think about how they take the very exaggerated and curved lower legs with no wheels and make them into a rectangle. So in that way, more impressive than MP 10. It also doesn't look messy like MP 44s, but I still think TE-01 has the best and cleanest alt mode, even though I have some issues with its bot mode.

My MS-01 escaped customs purgatory and arrived today! Can't wait to get home and crack him open.

I have MS-01 still sitting in vehicle mode and the more I look at it, the more I like it. As I have said before, I still feel they just could have shaved a little height and heft off of the legs/rear of the truck if they had pushed the design/themselves a little further.

Yeah, the leg transformation is impressive in its own way. It changes from a curved surface to a rectangle quite well, and its wheel wells are actually better-looking that TE-01's. But they needed to do just a bit more; A better way of folding the feet up and a MP-10 like hiding of the grills would've been great.

Ultimately yeah, the height is the problem, just making it proportionally high for a truck. I can look past it though because his bot mode is extremely expressive and the proportions have a great heroic silhouette.
