I haven't seen any of them yet.
I like to pick up there Cyclonus and Ultra Magnus legend versions.
Maybe also their stunticons, but i think i'm going dx9 stunticons if the others of the team share crackup's prize ( except for Motormaster, which surely will be more expensive ).

That 71cm Prime, i heard the prize would be under 300 or shy 300 usd.

It will take a lot of space in your living room.  

 

I think in the 80's cars and trucks has bigger windows then nowadays.
So give him bigger windows shouldn't be a problem and would be more cartoon and 80's accurate.
I don't care too much about the windows, more about the 1 crouch flap. This has to be corrected.

While I'm pretty sick of yet another Prime toy, I have to say that, frankly, I think this looks WAAAAAY better than the upcoming third official MP Prime. This one looks to use BOTH the truck mode's windows AND grill for bot mode. No Cheats!! The third official MP Prime has fake chestdows AND a fake chrill.

I don't mind the V3 Takara, i'll pick one up for sure, but it's far from perfect... and I'm really getting tired of the constant reboots from Takara, I'd like to have all the G1 official characters in the same design philosophy at some point, but Takara keeps freaking rebooting everything every 3-4 years... I'm starting to give up on them...

As far as Prime's iconic blue crotch piece is concerned, I may be mistaken, but I believe that below the one piece crotch flap there is a piece underneath that may serve as the blue crotch piece; it just doesn't attach to the crotch flap. I also assume that it is the middle piece that can be seen on the back of the figure running underneath to the front (if it does run all the way to the front). But again, I may be mistaken.





I must admit that I like the one piece crotch flap as far as looks are concerned; it's clean and unbroken, without any lines or seams. As far as functionality is concerned, that may be another story. Though if I do buy this figure, I'll probably pose it similar to what's seen in the pictures, so it's not really a concern for me.

 

Is that a gun in the back compartment, like with MP-10? I see a hinge on the bottom. Any thoughts?

Yeah, this guy will be my Autobot group center piece, which will meamt a generally static heroic pose where the one-piece hip flap will have no effect for display purposes.

Prime 3.0 will be the dynamic versus Megtron 2.0 pose for their face-off display.

Though I think the "fat" comments are a very petty excuse to not like him. He's bulked up and powerful looking, which he has been represented many times in media before (Look at every Don F drawing of him). I think people are focusing too much on him being a perfect toon counterpoint to Prime 3.0 when we don't even know if that is the intent of the figure.
