Did a little bit of my Snapchat sticker magic to make the windows a bit taller on Cheem's digi. Its a bit rough, but you can easily see the idea. I think I'm in love. The two things MS has to do and I'll be all in. Fix that one piece crotch flap and make his windows a little taller.




(Oh and be cheaper than Takara's v3)

Edit: Truck mode looks okay too. Slightly less realistic, but still good enough (besides, windshield shape should be the least of ones problems with this truck mode when compared to that thicc hitch area lol). The Snapchat cut out feature didnt work as well on the black and white picture so its even more messy lol. Can someone who's actually good at Photoshop throw something together?

 

i think the truck mode looks really shit but thats forgiven due to the robot mode being kickass  

bet this is released way before takara's too

I think he's trying to one-up G1 Megatron but is falling a little short...

 

I never got MP-10 because I knew why it was developed and hated the downsizing of it. I got MPP-10 and while fantastic I would absolutely buy this one if they fix the crotch plate. This is a dead on match to my Despotron and he fits Optimus' look perfect. The realistic shins hiding the wheels has always been an issue for me and that strong torso that looks perfect now. I think the TT trailer will be largely the same so I will welcome getting this rather than paying $250+ for the TT version. The TT version to me already has the weaknesses I see in the v2 Megatron.

 

He just needs that blue crotch piece and he's pretty much good to go!

 

MP v3 is too lanky, this is too stocky (not really referring to height obviously, just the proportions). I’m sure it has something to do with Optimus never being one of my favorite characters, but two MP Optimus Primes is already one too many for me. So easy pass. Cool for those who like it though.

 

Other than the one-piece skirt, I like this better than the Takara V3 Prime. No kibble on his back either, and a cleaner look with better proportions. The uber-serious clowns in the official V3 thread would scream if I posted this over there. It doesn't take much to set them off, so I won't. But that's my initial impression so far. That may change over time, as both the official and this are in the early stages of development, but yeah. This looks better to me. I still love MP-10, though.

 

Geez, I already have the first two MP Primes, and he's not even a favorite character or design. But this does look great in bot mode. I love how it looks from the back (it matters). Truck is pretty crap.
I'll think about replacing Optimus if it's a knockout. Produced solid, comes out looking good, but way more articulated that MP-10 and a better figure : a reason to upgrade. No small challenge.
We will see but it's so damn pretty I really hope it does come out great.

The term you're looking for is "nutsack"

 

I watchef enough Sunbow TFs as a kid to know that the proper term is probably lugnutsack.

As in:

"I'm gonna cyber-kick you Autodweebs in the lugnutsack so hard that your great-great downloads will be feeling it. I should probably apologize to your girlfriend for what this is going to do to your maintenance networking sessions because you're going to need Vectoragra for her to even find your docking cable!"

 

This better have an easier transformation and indestructible plastic. MS Toys is on a roll here. They probably might have had this planned for Legends scale but their friendship with DX9 probably gave way to DX9's Dutch being released.
