Looks like the pair that are arriving now come with the purple feet parts and black/gray thighs for Menasor. If anyone picked theirs up local from TCP today, they might share the details on what else they come with.

 

Question: I see my preorder for motormaster has a pay balance option now. Should I pull that trigger? LoL

 

I already fully paid the balance over at Show.Z.
I'm not too anxious about the preorder parts - as I'll display Menasor in cartoon mode only - but seeing how quickly the first 2-pack sold out, I just wanna be sure to get my MM within the first batch.

Has there been a discussion yet regarding the possibility (or inevitability) of a metallic repaint of this entire set? I wasn't particularly fond of that practice with their other figures, but felt the price was easy enough to handle with replacing a single small figure. But we're possibly looking at $250+ for the whole set... That's a little harder to swallow when considering replacing with the metallic repaint.

Also, it's worth wondering if they'd announce/release repaints before the first full combiner set is even fully released.

 

It seems unlikely that they would. Only key characters have had metallic repaints so far.

 

That's a good point, if memory serves only Prime, Soundwave and Megs got metallics so far???

i have no other MS carbots, but glad these will work well with the few IF i have, and the one TW incoming.

Of course I know that. I meant NA, IF and MS all scale well as vehicles

 

They're going to be significantly taller than NA carbots. I have Whiskey Jack and NA Jazz and the height difference there is pretty drastic.

Fortunately, I have no plans to display these guys individually, or really anywhere near my carbots.

 

No doubt. Even MS Huffer is a tall as NA Jazz

 

Did they redo the pricing on these? I picked up the two pack for around $50, which seems great, but I thought they were $35 each and $150 for motormaster, (which I dearly hope is a horrible, horrible typo)?

 

Unfortunately, it is not an error. We've argued about it for like 10 pages in this thread when first we learned about that Motormaster with trailer price last year

 

And then again some time later, and again, and again, and basically any time someone new learned about Motormaster's price.

You were expecting the two leg-bots to be $70 total, but instead got them for $50. Great; just pretend you spent the expected $70 on the leg-bots, and will only have to spend $130 on Motormaster.
