    Drag Strip
The Engine tabs do NOT fit at all. And the tabs of the arms to plug into the back work, but are crazy tight.

    Dead End
The back edge of Deadend's hood is way too tight. The feet/roof plugging into the from of the wind screen. If it was just the pegs being too tight or the edge of the feet, i'm sure it could plug in. But both being too tight makes it impossible.

The Extra thingies. Won't clip into Menasor's shoulders

one of mine couldn't place the 'hood' into bot mode. in the end it was the peg that still had some excess plastic on the edge and was blocking passage to the other side of the hood. Being excess plastic it was easy to remove - i used a blade (something sharp) to scrape it off , came immediately. u might want to check if thats the case. If my description is just too bad to understand tell me ill .. try again o_O

Oh. I didn't know about that...flaw? Defect? on these guys.

I've got about a dozen of them...Don't know why.

What you said is understandable. Don't worry about it.

It's pretty easy to fix all of these problems by slipping a file into the too-narrow error and wiggling it a bit. Took me less than ten minutes.

I suspect MS originally planned for these to be made of nylon and thus more pliable; the harder plastic means the tolerances should have been/have to be tighter.

Looks like I'll get my right dragstrip hand from showz. Also picking up another set for bot mode. They look to good as a team and as menasor.

I got same for Deadend... BUT for Dragstip i also thought the tabs didnt fit at all the cockpit part of the engine had LARGe pegs on each side and the leg parts engine had tiny slits for the tabs... BUT upon closer inspection i noticed the cockpit part of the engine needs to go UNDER the leg part engine and There it tabs PERFECTLY... check my vid @12:30

I just checked their currently in-stock listing (the one that’s priced at $64.99) and with it having “Restock” in parentheses, I’m thinking it could be a restock of the original run.

Giving this set a shot. Hopefully, it doesn’t disappoint.

I thought about that but I haven't really checked yet if that hole is necessary for transformation or combination.

It's not necessary for transformation or normal combined mode. It might be used for the alternative combined mode that uses the limb bot's built-in elbow joint but I haven't checked.

How would you go about filling it in?

Epoxy putty like you said. You also run into the problem of needing to paint it with a good color match unless the Decepticon symbol would completely cover the hole.

Cool. I've never used the stuff before so I'll experiment a bit with it first before working on Dead End. I already have a decent color match paint because I had to fix some paint damage on the figure previously. It's a smidge lighter but barely noticeable. Might try and mix some black in there to darken it.

If you decide to go ahead and do the mod, I'd love to see how it turns out! :)

I probably won't. It just doesn't bug me enough to be worth it, especially since he's going to spend almost all of his time as an arm.
