The white shoulder pylons/forearm covers can store on the back of Motormaster's trailer. It's not the most secure connection but they will stay put. Doesn't look too out of place. Kinda similar to how trucks sometimes have a cooling unit or folding forktruck stuck to the back.

My arm-bots arrived today. I got a couple of the QC issues that have been mentioned here. Had to trim the tabs on Dead End's roof and on Dragstrip's slots that connect to the engine block. One issue on my Dead End that I don't think I've seen mentioned here is the wrist's mushroom peg. On mine I couldn't turn the right wrist so I popped it out to take a look. What's weird is that the mushroom peg was not round. It's sort of half round and half almost squared, so it wasn't going to turn. I trimmed and sanded the peg a bit to make it rounder, and the wrist works now.

I quickly transformed the bots into cars and then formed Menasor. I found the shoulder rotation joint to be a bit loose, so I'm trying some Vallejo reducer there to see if it could be tightened up a little. Overall, I like this set a lot and "little" Menasor looks great and the different display options is certainly very cool.

Man, all of these QC issues with the arm-bots are incredibly disheartening. Very frustrating that such well-designed and well-engineered bots are getting knocked down several pegs due to a sloppy build. Is the factory MS using in a rush or something?

Apologies but could someone explain the deal with the bonus parts? Any pics of what they are and how they are any different? Thanks....

The bonus parts are included to give you the option for a toy accurate Menasor. The first set of Breakdown and Wildrider came with alternate thigh covers that can replace the ones that come on Menasor, and toe extensions so that you can swivel the leg bots around so the cars are facing forward. Motormaster came with an alternate head, chestplate, and I wanna say something else but I can’t remember it. Either way, they were meant to make him look more toy accurate. And Dead End and Wildrider come with bigger shoulder pylons to mimic the design of the G1 Menasor head configuration. Now, these are supposedly preorder parts, but I know that you can still get them if you didn’t preorder. I don’t have mine on me but I’m sure others can provide pictures.

The other part with Motormaster was the crotch plate.

They said they'd come with the first production run, but people have been using that interchangeably with preorder bonus. Which is understandable, considering that frequently you have to preorder to get the first production run anymore. :v

I was fortunate that my bot team all had little to no QC issues and after combining them this evening, I'm all in....This piece is beautiful and gives me all the feels I had when I was a kid collecting the entire team and combining them for the first time :)  If they wish to continue the combine teams, ALL OF THEM I HOPE, I'm in. :)  Great job Magic Square!

Ha! That looks awesome. I wasn't planning on getting any upgrades for him but you've got me kinda tempted now. Hafta think about it.

Extra faces make this guy so much more alive and expressive. Makes it an even better figure.

Absolutely. Alternate faces is a gimmick that I love.

Thankfully MST Menasor's face is so easily replaceable that making new faces for it isn't a problem at all.

You need to offer your services to Magic Square to sculpt all their face sculpts. I’d buy them then.
