Oh and for some reason a lot of copies have the cannons being detachable. Idk how hastak let that one slide.
Floppy arm panels mostly. For transformation I’d also check out the detailed pics several pages back that someone posted. Getting the arms properly folded up is critical.
I got mine to actually tab into the wrist nice and tight... I noticed there's a rectangular pocket down at the bottom of the clear u-shaped channel, and with a decent squeeze the black wrist tab sank into the rectangular pocket. It worked better on the left than on the right. Right side is a wee bit more loose, while the left is a snug fit.
That's amazing. One side of mine doesn't tab in at all anymore and one side tabs in but even the slightest breeze knocks it out. I'm thinking of trying to melt the arm tabs to flatten them so they grip the sides more but I'm scared.
Yikes! The words "melt" and "transformers" in the same sentence always seems like a dangerous endeavor.
Here's what I was mentioning yesterday: There's a deeper rectangular pocket (colored in red) below the clear u-shaped bracket that the wrist tabs plug into, and I don't know if people have identified it. It works quite well on the left arm, but needs some work (a wee bit loose in comparison) on the right one.
"Knowing is half the battle." As is the norm with TFs these days, tolerances are all over the place. Varying from copy to copy.
Mine just showed up today. Overall he seems pretty solid. So far I've only identified two issues. The tabs by his wrists don't seem to fit into the recesses on the arm panels, so they flop around a fair bit, and the left side of the plastic on his backpack by the base hinge seems to have been damaged by the pin. The plastic seems split around the pin but I moved the hinge a few times and I didn't notice any functional problems so I think it will be okay.
Exactly. Of course I knew about all that, it just doesn’t work. There’s nothing for the tab to catch on to. With a whole panel like that that swivels around to form the arm a friction-based tab was the absolute worst choice of locking mechanism.
*flex more translation muscles* So from the posting: 这是KO厂货版,采用ASB+合金件铸造,模具有修改过,关节相对比较紧实,卡扣也比较精准,正确变形后密合车型没问题,质量不错,性价比高! 盒装出品,配双炮,内包装采用吸塑盒包装,无绑线,跟官方版本有明显区别 This is KO sample, uses ASB + alloy parts to make, mold has been modified, joints are comparatively tight, tabs/locks are more accurate, correctly transformed panels are tight in car mode without issues, quality not bad, value/price very high! Boxed release, includes double cannons, internal packaging uses vacuum/sucked plastic (?) packaging, no string ties, compared with official has obvious differences. You're welcome
This is what I don’t understand- if KO companies can so quickly and presumably, easily, correct these problems, it whouldn’t have been an issue for HasTak to do. Why didnt they?
