I think he's just a touch bigger, but I could be wrong.

$100 better? Doesn’t look like it. The price gouging isn’t exclusive to the main MP line it seems

 

These are the same people who blacked out SS Rotf Megatrons limbs from the box pics, they are horrible people

 

Well yes, the better paint, better accuracy, use of die cast, higher quality plastic, and larger size (this especially, since I don't see how SS Ironhide will ever scale with the rest of the MPMs) is worth the $100 in fact.

 

I think the mpm has a fish face middle. Hate it.. the ss custom just looks better. Ye a little skinny in the middle, but that could surely be fixed with an os upgrade..

 

If you say so. Slightly more accurate. Not sure how small amounts of diecast make the figure better or significantly more costly. Not sure how you determined the quality of the plastic. And it's slightly larger. Yup, not worth $100 more.

 

i agree, but i do like a bit of diecast to make a figure heavier and to me feel more expensive. so an OS version with few upgrades would be very welcomed.
Also an OS version would probs be done by WJ or BMB and be the same price as the SS version..

 

The chest works horrible, if you move the arms, the chest detach of the body:/

 

He looks to scale better with MPM cars in car mode but is on the small side as a robot...

 

This figure is literally mpm 4 all over again. The chest pieces detach when you move the arms, and the tabs are loose on both the robot and the vehicle. At least the cannons are detachable, but overall from what I've seen, I'm extremely disappointed

 

ok just watched kevin's video, Thanks kevin btw. And my thoughts.....
Those shoulders are a mess. to bad they couldn't design them better. way too many loose tabs. looks good but for me the shoulder chest pieces are way to floppy. Great transformation though, especially the legs. I have him paid and order already but if a third party comes and just fixes the tab issue im in. also love how they conceal the bumper

Wow that chest is butt. Can't believe they couldn't get it to tab in better and the arm placement sucks too. It looks wonderful in every other way, however.
