I don’t think I’ve ever seen a box with a TRU sticker. And if you got it from TCP, it should be legit.

    Awesome pictures, dude!

If you got it from TCP, you're 100% fine. They'd never sell a KO disguised as the real deal.

When MPM Barricade was first announced, I wasn't interested. I thought he looked neat, but my shelf had more Decepticons than Autobots, and I was more interested in waiting for more good guys to balance things out. I have both MPM Prime and Bee, and was impressed by both.

I really dig this MPM line. The only way I would get Barry is if the price was right, and thanks to Amazon Japan, that came to fruition. I removed a Decepticon from my movie shelf (the Fallen) to make room. I'm putting the Fallen with Sentinel Prime and Lockdown on a different shelf.

MPM-05 is a good addition to the masterpiece line. Though he’s not my favorite (that honor goes to Prime, tabbing issues and all), he still ticks all of the right boxes: accuracy, shelf presence, heft, and articulation. A solid recommend (especially if you can find one for under $80). My copy’s only issue is the arm panel that won’t stay locked into place. Bring on MPM Ironhide!

So...no way to store the weapon in alt mode?

instructions don't show any way, and if it could be on (rather than in) the alt mode it's not obvious to me at least...

Except for that crazy front-mounted idea here: MPM-05 Movie Masterpiece Barricade Official Images

If you have a spare of that 643 for the front bumper that you wouldn't mind letting go, let me know!

So I finally got him and transformed him. I do think he's awesome but I had a couple questions. On this lower arms, do the "glass" panels with the detailing tab in? Mine seem to like to fall out of place real easily. Also, the door windows on his back, the "bug wings", are also loose and like to droop down. Anyone else have that?

The bug wings are fine on mine, but I don't believe the rear window/arm panels tab in.

They aren't terribly loose, like he can stand there just fine. Only if I started moving or using some of the ratcheted joints will the start to droop.

Anyways, I'm impressed by how that solid car becomes such a crazy robot, and also how well balanced he is. The tight metal feet really keep him stable in a lot of nice poses.

Love how detailed it came out. Though do still wish it came with a mini-Frenzy for the full/complete MPM feeling.

Yeah, a little Frenzy would've made this figure perfect.

I saw on the main page mention of qc issues with mpm Bee. What were they? I hadn't heard of them...
I got my Barricade of eBay for $50. No box or instructions but otherwise perfect. Except his weapon doesn't stay on very well. Anyone else have that problem?
