He's still a bit chicken legged like Screamer, so there might still be room to manipulate his height a bit if ya want him taller.

The consensus for him being labelled "Bad" varies from person to person. Whether it be the misconception that it's somehow almost "Identical" to the SS Mold. Or that it doesn't change enough from the SS Mold even though.. They are based on the same design..

Or that it does some aspects worse when compared to the SS, which is reasonable.

After seeing the pictures, I'm now fully interested in the upcoming BMB, WJ Hide Shadow was meant to scale with official MPM and with some OSKO if you extend the legs sadly more and more characters now are coming in the "new" MPM Scale (AKA Thunder Leader/LS03 scale) like Sentinel Prime and TLK Megs/Prime and UT figures, and now we know what BMB did, I'm 100% sure that they upscaled this Blackout, is just too small, the scale charts were always a bad joke for me because in the movie Megs has like 4 different sizes in Mission City and Blackout is undersized in Mission City too compared to Qatar Blackout, I think that WJ nailed the size for official MPMs then, but not for modern OSKO/3rdp MPM now, so, final thoughts about the size:
-just too small as a figure for me, the MPM line has enough bad scale (Bee/Prime/Ironhide) to start showing scale charts to justify how small he is, he's the size of a commander class figure, BUT, the engineering justifies his MPM Price
-I think that BMB's Blackout is going to be the next "Mainstream" Blackout if he's oversized, if WJ Blackout was small for modern 3rd party and KO figures, BMB has a huge market for a big Blackout in scale of idk, Thunder Leader, OV01, Zeus Shockwave or LS12 or the new UT DOTM Megatron, all the MPM Bee Primes, maybe the upcoming MPM OSKO Megs too, which looks like the definitive Megs
-if you collect official MPM, WJ has the best size for me he's huge and he can scale with more 3rd party figures besides official MPM's like early UT figures, but MPM Blackout has better engineering, better articulation plus accessories, so both choices are a win/win, also both cost the same, right now Hide Shadow costs 150$ so he's not cheap at all
I'll probably sell my WJ and wait for BMB Blackout, Hasbro did something GREAT with this figure, sadly he's too small, at least for me WJ Hide Shadow Megatron.jpg

I think Sam Smith actually addressed this in a Comment on the Insta post, but I can't locate it at the moment. He mentioned it having something to do with how his chest forms.

    Edit: Found it!

If this is just a ss upsize then i say that they think the transformation from ss blackout would work on the mpm blackout.

Blackout looks fantastic and will join my collection :D

I predict 2023 MPMs will be Grindor and Sideswipe ( Who I prefer to call Stryker).

Ahh, I'm not worried at all about ROTF MPMs. Plenty of very sought after characters from ROTF, DOTM, AOE and TLK for production viability. Plus, the line has been profitable. :D

I predict they'll be Bonecrusher and Brawl, the last two bots from the first movie. There's zero indication they intend to do sequel characters yet, if ever.

Of course, but the alt-mode is still undersized, the jet could be larger in order to hide all the robot kibble that MPM-10 suffers badly from.

Isn't it accurate? The gas refill being long in his chest?

He looks really nice, but will only pick him up if I find it on a really deep discount.
