The pics I posted earlier have the truck from every angle without the gun.

 

Yeah that’s cool but I said “more” pics. Just seems odd that 90% of the truck mode pics out there have that huge block of folded gun on them. Even the one from the magazine that you posted has the upper angled back shot with the gun so you can’t see the back of the cab.

 

It’s really odd too, since in the pictures we have seen the back of the cab is actually really clean. I’m surprised they don’t want to show that off more.

 

Yeah it looks so much better without it there. I’ll for sure never use that as a storage option unless I’m transporting the figure somewhere for a photo shoot so why show it off al the time?

 

I spent too much time on this sketch.
I wanna fix(?) the problems with the truck mode that bothering me (cat ears, leg vent visible on truck mode, and sun visor on truck mode).
I hope that this is clear enough

Great work, but then you have to fix how the back of the side of the cab strangely doesn't reach down far enough to reach the gas tank...

The truck is just a disaster.

Sorry if this is off-topic, but will this be the only MPM of the year, or will another be announced soon? I don't remember Starscream's and Ratchet's reveal being this spread apart, but I may be mistaken.

 

There is a rumour of the second MPM this year being the rusty Camaro Bee from the first movie.

 

Supposed to be old comaro bee (from 2007 film). Time between Starscream and ratchet was only 2 months so we might get a reveal soon.

 

I really hope they put more effort into the 77 Camaro if that's the next MPM. Presumably (hopefully?) that'll be licensed so it should at least look more believable than this truck that looks like it was designed by Homer Simpson.

 

All it's most likely going to be is a remold of MPM-03 bee so I don't see how they would screw it up at this point.

 

Ah! I can’t decide this or ThreeZero? On the one hand I have a MP10 trailer and some MPs that can pose with this figure, BUT ThreeZero looks amazing and I hear is actually fun to play with. I keep flip flopping.

 

He is very solid. At mpm scale , i love him a lot. Truck mode is secondary while bot mode works in MPM budget, i would say the transformation is genius while take lots of cue from SS38 but not quite.
He also has tons of ratchet. Might be best painted among bunch of MPM, enough paint apps to accentuate important details.
I dont like the light piping gimmick though.
Threezero is its own scale and it's fully for posing , but no ratchet. Its expensive nature and delicate parts are sometimes scary to manipulate too much. If you want a MP Bumblebee Prime to display with MP figure , MPM-12 is the way to go.

 

Thank you for The reply! Wait you have it? Can he pull mp10’s trailer? Is he ‘fun’? The way I look at ir is which ever I for the live action G1 movies this figure (either MPM or ThreeZero) will be the first in the line I collect for the next decade. As I don’t think Studio Series is big/good enough to hold that live action detail I’m looking for. Plus it has to be fun, I pose and move my figures a lot.

 

MP-10 doesnt have the connection to MP-44 slot in style so I dont think mpm12 can pull mp10 trailer
Yes the transformation is super straightforward and easy, compare to mind numbing transformation of other 3P offerings. You can literally just watch something and transform at the same time. It is that easy.
The deco on the shoulder is not dead on accurate but overall wise is almost dead on 3a dlx , most notable difference is not as articulated and not as much paint apps as 3a dlx.

Well to make your choice easier, no, it's not MP-10 trailer compatible.

 

I go back and forth on this guy.
Truck mode sux.
Bot mode looks fantastic. Don’t care for the shoulders, tho. And the truck panels on the arms... really?

Between this and. 3P, this might be the most reliable option.
