I think they originally added it as an easter egg when filming but decided to declare that as Prime himself when they tweaked the film and added the night time post credit scene
Ngl, I\'m super disappointed. I was hoping they would finish the 07 cast before diving into another movie. I want Blackout, Brawl and Bonecrusher. Specially Blackout and Brawl. I\'m hoping this is fake, but something tells me this is legit.
So if this is real... whats going to be the main thing wrong with it... all the mpms i have so far have at least one issue. Im still super annoyed be mpm-10s lack of bicep rotation
While I am incredibly excited if it is real, I am pretty disappointed we haven't gotten any other 07 decepticon other then the main 3 still. Still holding out for blackout or brawl, maybe even bonecrusher
Hard to see how this could be overall a better version than the Toyworld one (even with all its defects) but if real, I’ll still get it. I’m sure transformation will be 1000000 times better.
If this is real, I hope it means the 77 Camaro Bumblebee is still coming. Maybe they're increasing the number of MPMs per year, that'd be nice. I really want ROTF Sideswipe and Shatter and Dropkick car mode figures. I'd really prefer the 07 movie version, the chubby robot mode turning into an angular muscle car just doesn't feel right. Shatter and Dropkick technically did appear onscreen with cars as their only alt modes in one or two brief scenes, so that's what I'd hope for. I love their car modes and the SS figures don't do them justice.
I want movie characters who do not yet have MPMs instead of yet another freaking Optimus and bumblebot. Would I buy the twins over either of the epically oversaturated Optimus and bee? Yes, I would. HasTak should be delving into ROTF, not the bee movie. We have Takara's Masterpiece line for the G1 aesthetics.
If there was a market for skidz and mudflap I’m sure you’d see them, but Prime and Bumblebee sell better and honestly... always will over those two. MPM are also the only Masterpiece figures sold in big retail stores so if they’re gonna put out a $100+ figure they want it to sell instead of warm the shelves.
This. It would be silly if they did not make him. Threezero BB Movie Prime sold out like what, 2 times? There are bunch of 3rd party folks making a version of this guy too. Making an official MP version of it is basically a gold mine. HasTak is going to do what makes them money. A lot of people like Prime and they like this design. And come on, I've said this earlier but it's absurd to suggest using G1 Prime as a stand-in for BB Movie Prime. While based off of the same silhouette (like pretty much all Primes), they're still quite different. With that logic, let me just go ahead and use Cyberverse designs as a stand-in for my WFC collection.
Getting past the whole "there's plenty of versions already so why care" attitude, I am still impressed with the voyager and if Hasbro can bring that care to the MPM line, it could be a great figure. I really would like to see them actually keep this design with movies going forward, but since the next movie has a different director, I doubt it.
A leaker from one of the other threads said he's real, and may get discounted like Starscream did, sot I may pick him up if that happens. Looking forward to it, hope he turns out well.
That box render looks new because of the hand placement. Primes left hand is actually resting on the underside of his rifle, completly open and actually holding it.
The most popular and important characters in the brand get the most merchandise, I am SHOCKED AND APPALLED.
I’ll see how this turns out and if it’s good, I might get it. It would have to be very impressive since most of us are all spoiled by super accurate Bumblebee Movie Prime figures like TW, Toylab, Potential Transcraft and TMT Straight Facts
