We all know the fire truck with obvious guns will always be the best

 

I don't think the truck bed is accurate to the movie because if you watch it, you'll see that the truck bed is very long and narrow in the film. So no figure will actually look accurate. The reason I like Fire Scorpion the most is that it includes the taillights and that the bed looks cool. It's not accurate at all, but since it looks impossible to be accurate, I rather it looks cool.

But back on topic, jeez when I saw Bumblebee movie I thought we'd have figures with a great accuracy, identical to the movies. But the fact I see better/more accurate Bay line figures make me feel empty  
But well, who said it'd be a good idea putting parts of another vehicles in the bots, like Prime pieces indicates he transforms in the evasion mode truck but it doesn't happen in practice. What happens: we always get BB OP figures which always turn into the evasion truck

 

I'd just assumed that gap is just due to transformation, since the arm forms the side of the truck and there needs to be a gap there to hide the bot kibble in truck mode.

Looks just as bad and cat like as before.

 

The colors look better, as if more paint is applied. It could be the photo box studio lighting, but it doesn’t look like it is all cast plastic colors now.
Still feeling confident the alt is mis-transformed…

 

Robot mode looks really good in my opinion, though I'm still not a fan of the kitty ears in the truck mode, but sacrifices must be made I guess.

 

Everyone keeps saying that for every single MP release and it never ends up being the case....

 

The bastards are really not thinking about considering the public opinion about the figure. Everyone is fucking unsatisfied with the damn cat ears and windows in the arms and yet they just keep going
I guess I'll have to take those windows off by myself, bcs they really break the bot mode which is what matters at this figure

 

Are you under the mad impression that they were going to change finalized engineering-tied parts of the final toy because of some grievances on an american forum? On a toy that was already clearly finished and already going into mass production?

 

It's no doubt a hand painted prototype. It looks like brush strokes to me. I would love for it to be painted but I suspect it will be unpainted plastic like most of the other MPMs. It would be great if TT started doing Premium versions of the MPMs like they are doing for the WFC and SS figures. But the prices would be very high.

Well, it looks better than those early promo photos made it seem? It still looks worse than basically every MPM-style Prime out there though. If I wanted a transforming Bee movie Prime, I'd just buy Freedom Leader.

Make sure you buy a strainer to go with it (to catch all the pieces that fall off everytime you touch it)

 

I mean, that's why I emphasized a transforming Prime. I have the ThreeZero one, which is objectively the best version of this design. I think it's stupid he turns into just a regular truck when he's on Cybertron anyway, and so many figures do that transformation better if I needed a Prime cab in my shelf for some reason.
