I dont follow Marvel. Superheroes arent my thing. I only collect and follow Transformers.
I was hoping for Bonecrusher or Blackout, but I’ll take it. Not understanding the ears though.
"I don't deal with Marvel! I hate HasTak! Bayverse designs horrible; they look nothing like the characters!!! Bay cares nothing about the IP, just a cash grab!"...
...(creates an entire pricey collection of characters created by Marvel, based on designs created by Takara. Shits on more "accurate" movie designs created by a director who happened to be a fan as a kid during the G1 era)...
Weird indeed. The irony is hilarious, though. *Sigh* Good ol "fandom". Gotta love it.
Wow, better than I expected! Will buy!
The back look fantastic. Best out of any of the Transforming BB Optimi so far
I think you're the one who made the mistake. Wei Jiang's figure looks like a fucking brick with limbs. Not at all accurate, and also not a good look for the character. Optimus should be built lean, not like a tank. That's Megatron's job
Better size, better silhouette, probably less fiddly and not riddled with QC issues
I'm in the same boat. I see all the flaws, but I also see that it looks like a really fun figure and probably gonna be more than worth the Target discount price a few weeks after it drops
Nah, if anything it's not long enough. The truck in the movie was a bit ridiculous
Tried...what? What did the TW figure try that this one didn't? Besides the overly grimy paintjob
The mpm is the best mode bot out of every other version. It looks spot on to the 3zero, which is perfectly screen accurate
It tried to hide the legs to some capacity, has the entirety of the shoulder move together rather than just a portion of it, doesn't have any random truck kibble hanging off the arms, and doesn't have any massive pegs sticking out of the inside of the legs, and lacks random cat ears in truck mode along with not having bent smokestacks.
And to think that I passed up the 3P offerings thinking that I’d wait for Takara’s definitive versions...
.... boy am I a sucker.
Aoyi’s is gone... I guess there’s still Transcraft.
yet the toyworld version doesn't hide the legs, they look like legs sticking from the back of a truck with wheels
It still has a flat blue surface trying to be clean and not look like a leg, Hasbro's truck bed has the entire shin area just sitting there, and the bottoms of the feet sticking up. TW is at least clean and not cluttered looking.
I'll probably get this but I can't say I'm enthralled with it. I'm in the minority that just didn't really even care for the g1 looking bots in the Bee film and between how exciting MPM10 was and the excitement of new G1 Seekers (I'm a nut; sorry) this just kind of.....is. As long as it isn't hot garbage like MPM4 was though I'm sure I'll enjoy it in hand. MPM10 while I do have some gripes with was a solid figure and a very cool one that feels nice and hefty to hold. If this has that kind of vibe I'm down and I'm always up for displaying more MP trucks side by side.
I passed on Toyworld... largely due to the visible legs and feet... so I have no skin here but Toyworld’s still looks better. And TW has no truck ears either.
I like this...but the two pegs on the right leg are murder on my eyes...they just look so bad.
Probably going to get it regardless, but I'm baffled that they couldn't find a better solution that isn't a complete eyesore, even from a distance.
And kudos to any designer who can hide the rifle between the legs in truck mode and not fold the rifle in half and stick it on the back of the truck.
I like it. I missed out on the Studio series, so I will pick this up as long as its not crazy expensive.
My favorite take on G1 prime, and it looks good for an official figure without the need of black magic? Sign me in. Would prefer darker blues; but it's going to be awesome regardless.
Hope the truck cab is not truly cursed to have bunny ears...
People keep saying this looks better than any 3P versions.... When it doesn’t even look better than the studio series one.
This doesn't look better than any of the 3P versions lol Not sure what people are seeing.
This looks like a studio class figure in comparison to some of them.
That is the best truck mode of any Voyager figure though. But the bot mode suffered in a few areas. If they had made the feet thinner, the Voyager would be close to perfect.
when does this go up for pre-order?
