That's because they were, it was literally the very last scene made for the entire movie, and every single bot besides the core cast is made by mostly reusing assets of the core cast (BB, Prime, and Blitzwing). Naturally they changed a bit here and there to make them look like the bots they're supposed to be, but it was definitely rushed. That being said, I think what they did was incredible and I love all of the Cybertronian designs.

I said definitive, not official, haha. And I like clean alt modes. So ToyWorld's doesn't fit the bill, and I haven't been impressed by the upscaled Studio Series KOs. I'm just waiting for someone to knock this design (including a clean, accurate truck mode) out of the park, whether it be Toylab, Transcraft, TMT, or Hasbro.

Looking at those two admittedly terrible pictures, it does appear that this figure will be based on the final CG model, rather than the initial concept art that the SS figure was based on. The differences are subtle, but they are noticeable enough to stand out.

 

I'd love to have that Ice Cream Truck, lol.

Here here, I actually like the design of the twins, and have a strong emotional attachment to the original skids figure for entirely personal reasons, but this debate could go on forever, and we have much better things to talk about. Like how PVP and TT will probably have stolen review samples of this guy in the next two weeks, if they don't already, and it hasn't even been announced yet.

 

I'm optimistic that we'll see characters from ROTF by 2022.
I am genuinely happy for those excited about BB movie Op and bee.

If HasTak ever releases a TLK Barricade, I'd be all in.

My brother and I collected almost the entirety of the Twins presence in the 09 toyline because they were the brothers. We never got HA Mudflap or Legends Skids, though. Nor the kiddie FAB ones but like.. those were the kiddie ones, ya know?

I am. The Takara will probably have a bunch of cheap ass gray plastic and unpainted diecast.

 

Oh man, I want one, but chances are this would go for $300+ like their other Primes. Hopefully, this will light the fire under other 3rd party toymakers to get on their BumbleBee Prime. My Fire Scorpion is nice but very flawed. I have my eye on Transcraft after their awesome looking BumbleBee.

Ya know, I have one of them as a Human Alliance. Don’t remember which. It’s a black deco.

 

Its an MPM prime. Under hasbro, not takara. Their other MPM prime from the 2007 movie was $140. This won't be overpriced like MP 44 due to hasbro's involvement and need to sell it in a retail store.

Extremely pumped for this! Im just happy to see the MPM series continuing and I hope we get more than two per year because it’ll take forever at this rate.

Assuming it is true because I trust the leaks I cannot wait to add it to my collection, just hope we get more info about it soon.

also on the topic of skids and mudflap their ROTF deluxe figures make a great stand in being almost same scale as the MPMs
