Wow great shots, exactly what I was looking for, thank you. It's wild because looking at them next to each other it reminds me of the feeling I got when the first Iron Man movie images came out; such a wonderful update that honors the original design.

 

This might be a dumb question but what shipping method do you use for tracking? If I go with the cheapest option — Registered Air Mail Small Packet — will I still be able to track my order?

Also, do I purchase this Monday (when I get paid) and drop all other purchases I have planned or wait for Target where it might be cheaper?

My take, It looks like a really good leader class. Not a masterpiece by any stretch, but It would make a great leader class of old.

Like this is probably what I'd think the 09 Leader Prime (and it's multitude of Takara repaints) would look like had the live actions movies done these designs instead.

Welp, it looks like they'll have a second chance with what looks to be a completely new alt mode seen in this thread.

 

Maybe they've actually got the alt-mode to actually match his robot mode this time.

 

I’d honestly rather have his bot mode change slightly to match the freightliner. Either way though, interesting stuff!

 

I also used the cheapest option and it was sent via Hong Kong Post e-Express. I use 17track.net or the HK post site, but 17track can be bookmarked with the tracking number saved.

 

A fan in Hong Kong got a copy where the front silver tripes have white paint gradiating/ towards the grill/middle.

 

I wonder what G1 cab is that. Its nose looks extended. Hmmm

 

The thing is, the actual truck stripe was silver, and yet because the colour saturation/exposure/whatever was high in that one shot and made it appear white-ish, HasTak and lots of the 3P versions have gone with white on their figures, including the shoulder stripes. This always seemed odd to me. They're silver in every other shot from the film, and the on-set photos of the truck show the stripe was silver.

 

But GeeeeWuuun!!

The white stripe on all the iterations of this prime is really bizarre.

Didn't Prime also have silver stripes in G1? I mean, it didn't show up as the color silver in animation but I thought the intention was to have silver stripes like the original toy.

Anyway, I hope Robot Kingdom doesn’t sell out of this bad boy by Monday evening. I don’t get paid to about 4:00 P.M. CST and won’t have the money until then. Blame rent, electric bill, two S.H.MonsterArts figures and some McFarlane DC Multiverse purchases haha

 

Oh it definitely was supposed to be silver, a lot of people for some reason couldn’t see past the cheap 80’s animation and need it to be white like the drawing.
