That's actually relieving to hear. I took a gamble on LS-14 and LS-15, knowing all too well about Shockwave et-al, because their official SS counterparts never showed up at retail here - they're hopefully arriving early next week.

I mean everything is up in the air until it actually hits consumers. Add the reported positive feedback from existing Chinese reviews and perhaps they've turned a corner? Or just had a happy accident? Lots of people will be watching as more reviews come in, that's for sure.

The reviews for their preproduction OS Shockwave were also positive. It was when the actual production models began to get out that things changed.

In covid times, lots of figures has being released with lots of issues. I'm gonna be patient to see real-hand reviews of final buyers.

I think at the very least, this figure hasn't been oversized like Brawl and Shockwave were, so I'd gamble there's less margin for problems (unless they use particularly bad plastic).

We do not know who is the actual manufacturer of this KO but many is to believe that it is BMB. Being completely skeptical is common with BMB quality especially with their OSKO Shockwave. But I don't understand and what is the point of bashing just because of the manufacturer and making statement when the actual product is not even released

To me I'm well aware of the risk when buying a KO. However so long as after sales service is provided, I'm relieved. I gotten my replacement for Shockwave before mine snapped off. I gotten my LS13 shoulder replacement without a problem

I'll hold my final verdict until I receive mine. I just hope that if this is BMB behind it, hopefully the quality is good like their MT lines. And as this is not OS, hopefully the joints hold it well.

For a 40 dollar with good painting and seller told me that after sales service is provided, I'm willing to take the risk and pull the trigger

Based on the 2 China reviewers, both mention that the material seems durable for transformation. The tabs are tight due to layers of paint. They both commented that the die-cast feet is very tight which I will take extra cautious during transformation to avoid any mishap

One thing that interest me is that the color on the chest is unpainted. Its the material colour of the underlying plastic but the effect is nice.

I'm hesitant to pay in full for this until I see some reviews from known reviewers.

It’s cheap enough for me to pull the trigger, I just hope I don’t get stuck in a shipping black hole again

I think wait and see is probably the approach that I will take. There have been some amazing top quality BMB stuff, and some that have not been so great. It seems hit or miss.

For example, the OS KO studio series Jetfire is absolutely amazing. I totally love that figure. But the ironically, the OS KO studio series Optimus Prime that the Jetfire combines with is a piece of crap. The Jetfire is made of solid, gorgeous plastic, while the Optimus Prime is made of cheap and brittle plastic. The Optimus Prime was a huge disappointment. I'm guessing they used cheaper materials figuring that it would be a figure that can sell more at a lower price point, while the Jetfire would be for collectors and so they could charge a higher price point.

Seems better than Honey Badger packaging. Sad to see the saw was painted in grey

Many are having the same thought

This is looking good! MPM Starscream is already fantastic in both modes (get over the kibble people) and the paint on this looks fantastic! Very excited to get mine, already ordered on ShowZ, and I hope that we see a ROTF version. I do hope that there is an OS to fit with the BA Prime,Wei Jiang Megatron, and the carbot scale.
