Huh, that's really weird. But I guess it's normal if it's standard delivery, right?

Okay so I got my copy today and it feels really good. Noticeably less floppy on the legs than the OG MPM, and the paint on the figure and weapons are just glorious.

 

It's normal that you have loosed ankles, on your pictures they aren't tabbed. At least the front tabs, probably the rear tabs aren't tabbed too.

 

Ah yes, I know about those tabs but I don't use them because they limit his ankle movement. The first KO had a good amount of tightness there where you could use it untabbed and still move it a lot without any looseness so its unfortunate they didn't carry that over for the second KO

 

They don't limit nothing, did you saw the inner articulation of the feet?.

 

Oh my bad you were talking about the tabs not pegged in on my pictures. I had those untabbed on purpose for only the pictures since they gave his leg a bit more height for certain poses

 

There's three important things to have a happy feet Starusucureamu: the two tabs (one in front, one rear) and the middle articulation inside the foot itself. You can tab those tabs and let the articulation work to the middle piece of the foot (not the ankle, I mean the foot itself). When I finish working I'll make a "tutorial" for the ankles, there's a lot of confusion for this weird design.

I just got mine! It's f*cking amazing!








But mine has one problem: the machine gun doesn't attach to the back. Did anyone else have this problem and know if there is something I can do to fix it!?

I can safely say after having both of these in hand that the new painting blows the Movie 1 Starscream out of the water. Just goes to show how good Hasbro’s original sculpts are, but Black Mamba has exquisite paint jobs.

 

I'm in the minority, but I prefer the OG MPM to the 1st KO MPM. BUT the Tattoo Screamer is so good that I'm glad I skipped the 1st KO and pretty much shelved the OG MPM at this point.

 

I agree. I like colors of the body on the first KO more, but the bright silver head is a huge turn off as it sticks out from his body too much. But the ROTF one has always been my preferred deco. One thing I wonder though, why does ROTF have blue and purple highlights in jet mode

 

Same, which is why I was so sad when mine broke (my fault) but the 1st KO has been great to own. Had I known this one was coming out I wouldn't have bothered though! I need that rotf paint job but I don't want to go to the hassle of having THREE starscreams at once then having to sell two. But I have a feeling that's what's gonna happen.

 

There is an aesthetic to the OG MPM Starscream. If it was sturdier than the KO's, maaaaaaaybe I'd triple dip.

 

Am I the only one who feels the machine gun is too tiny? Idk I think it should be a bit bigger

 

I went to rewatch the Forest Fight and Starscream's gun really isn't that big.

Maybe I got lucky but the ratchets on my MPM-10 hold fine. Not really floppy as others have reported. But the KO feels ever so slightly more stable.

Surely someone will purchase for spare parts, no?

About the highlights, I have no idea. I checked any CG renders but no purple and blue on any of em. Just the usual silver with hints of copper and red wiring.

 

Looking better the size is accurate in the Mpm, the thing is that his fingers are too long, so the big hand makes the weapon look even smaller, and also the fact the fingers aren't articulated

Imo the hands section look too long in the MPM. Those hands Vinh Lee made make it better

And yeah, the damn sharp claws the MPM should have

 

Does anyone else have the problem of the machine gun not attaching to the back?

You're right.
The back ports are much too small for the machinegun tab. I've tried that ports on his thrusters and wings, they're too small. And the one on his upper spine has slightly too much room for the machinegun to stay in, with the slightest movement having it just fall out.

 

I need your tutorial as soon as possible! Thanks!
