A do over would be appropriate for him but at the same time, that's a step backwards for other wanted characters.
Yeah, im perfectly content with letting 3rd parties handle this and just let Hasbro release new characters
The mentality of redoing characters over again really baffles me. It has been a detriment to the main MP line and would be one for the MPM line as well.
I can answer that. He’s pretty fun. The feet are strange because you can pull off dynamic poses, but the only part the moves are the toes. The heel spure on the side does not touch the ground most of the time. The shoulders are also have a double rotation point at both the wheels and collar. That can get annoying because the bending joint is located between those 2 rotation points. Edit**** Yes I own one and am speaking from experience.
What he said I will post my thought soon My DNA somehow block me from enter tfw from PC so it's hard to write post. But this I guarantee is another must buy for you guy
Not a fan of the lines in vehicle mode. Thought it would be better in the final production model, but that video shows it isn't, and is in fact worse, than the alt modes of the HA and SS toys. Also, those fingernails are disgusting...
if you don’t like panel lines just get a model car...getting a clean vehicle mode is only possible by making a shellformer like HA Sidewswipe, but this is a Masterpiece, meant to make an accurate robot from an accurate car. Which Masterpiece Megatron is better, MP-05 or MP-36? TT sacrificed the gun mode and gave it panel lines to make a engineering marvel that is MP-36. The toy engineers are tasked to do almost impossible tasks with the Bayformers, and personally I think they’re doing an outstanding job
Right... you sound personally offended- are you on the design team? Also, the gun mode for MP36 looks perfectly fine.
then why complain about the lines in vehicle mode when you think one of the biggest offenders (MP-36) looks fine? Just defending the design team who are never able to please everyone with what they do...
Because it doesn't break the illusion for MP36. The panel lines do break the illusion for this figure. The alt modes should receive just as much care as the bot modes, IMO, as they are a big selling point.
Well the panel lines are unavoidable to have an accurate bot mode without significantly bulky kibble, but maybe some way to reduce the visibility of such lines is what this really needs. But yeah they can be an eyesore for some figures
Kind of off topic but I still don't understand why the movies are MPM where BW is just mashed into the MP line. Yeah technically BW is part of G1, but anyone else wish we'd have MP, MPM, and MPBW? Or would you rather have the MPM be merged into the MP line like BW? Also if we're being picky I'd rather have it be MMP - Movie Masterpiece.
Because beast wars and g1 take place within the same continuity. In Japan there are only 5 or 6 different TF continuities. You’ve got the main continuity, which encompasses what we know as g1 seasons one through three, headmasters, masterforce, victory, zone, battlestars, beast wars, beast Wars II, beast Wars neo, beast Machines, robots in disguise ‘01, and a whole heck of a lot of other media. Then you’ve got Armada/Energon, Cybertron, Prime, Animated (originally meant to be part of bayverse in Japan but I think they finally dropped that), Bayverse, and now possibly the knightverse as their own continuities.
