Wow, what do you know? Bumblebee does come in half and with almost no effort. If that wasn't brought to my attention, I would never have noticed. Gives me faith in Jazz's gimmick.

 

Anybody else seen the boxes up on transfan’s feed? Megs’ looks great...jazz’s looks like they purposefully put him in the most unflattering pose possible.

 

Both look pretty good. Glad Jazz has the correct arm transformation, though it's a shame the rear fog lights end up on the back of legs instead of the front of the thighs. Megatron looks as expected.

The fact that the only real thing movie Jazz is remembered for is being torn in half by Megatron that they actually built the MP figures around it as a toy gimmick is kind of hilarious...In a morbid kind of why.

 

Whose autographs are those? It would honestly be neat for all future MPMs to come with the signatures of their designers somewhere on the box

 

They got so much right with this one from what I can tell, but the rear fog lights being fake is one of the few things I'd like to see done differently. I'd also like to see the tail lights be used on the back instead of fake ones and a better place to put the doors. They bulk up the shoulders too much. But all things considered, this looks absolutely stunning and I have little to complain about at this point. Hopefully the QC and paint is good.

 

Best news, just in time for my birthday. Can't wait get them.

I wonder if the nose on Megatron also works as the barrel of his gun.

 

Well it's cool to get a figure of that Megatron that looks way closer to the movie, but it's still one of the worst looking Megatrons in existence aesthetically. Jazz looks maybe just a little squat. Either way, both look constructed better than Ironhide, but for an MPM figures I have to take a "wait and see reviews" stance before I get too excited and buy them.

 

Right. Which is why I'm a little more disappointed that they weren't used in conjunction with the detailed plate on the back. It's not a huge deal. Once we have this in hand we will get a better idea of if it was even possible to use the real vehicle kibble depending on the transformation scheme. I just wish we don't have to wait so long! Also he looks to be about 14 to 15 cm tall, based on the nearby deluxe, so the scale is great! Overall I'm very happy with what I see.

For Megatron, I'm pleased with how he turned out, even though the backpack looks bad. Over the past few months the hype has given me a new appreciation for a design I otherwise could not care less about. Now it's become one of my favorite Megatron designs and this does it justice, imo. I wonder if his made hand will have soft plastic with pliable metal inside to give it some flexibility.

 

Ummm.. How tall is Jazz supposed to be? Is he the same height as MPM03? Or just under?
If so, see where Megatron is next to him? I think it's not going to be that mush larger then MPM04...What say you?

 

See this is fine, it just sticks out so much like MPM figures likes to do.

 

Probably not since I just got new twins and have no time for anything!!! But the ab section on Bee - the die cast part above his waist - flips up/forward, then you can just slide the torso off the waist.

 

If people can make AoE Optimus transform from an Earth truck to a knight then making TF1 Megatron is really simple in comparison.

 

MPM Barricade would like a word with you.

 

Not a fan of Jazz's gimmick but idc anymore, they both look so gorgeous.

 

Finally, 2007 Megs. I always felt this is one that could have been executed better and whilst technicially all Megatron figures had their flaws, the 2007 one fell flat the worst IMO, both leader and Voyager... God damn that ice effect.  

The other ones, were passable.

This new Masterpiece... Amazing. Looking forward to putting this guy on my shelf.

Jazz too for that matter, can't wait to put Sam in a ziplock with other accessories that dontd get displayed.
