No qc errors....no gaps....no unsecured tabs.... @Phamduc am I dreaming?!
so far if im very nitpick then QC error would be one of the collar piece is slightly loose because the pin doesnt go in all the way. And the teeth paint can be a little dodgy. Otherwise I don't see any else on my production piece. I'm very satisfied , might be my most favorite MPM mold.
Can you take a picture of him in robot mode with the red piece removed?
i plan to ,the chest will hold but the bottom of chest piece has no where to tab so it's not very secure.
Man it seems like it has the least amount of problems compared to previous MPM's!
GOD I HOPE THAT RUMOR THAT TAKARA TOOK OVER ALL DESIGN AND ENGINEERING GOING FORWARD FOR MPM IS TRUE
I meant it was distracting hanging under the jet but thank you for the rundown. Looks greater and greater every pic.
I'll edit my post with a sarcasm mark but that's why I put the lol at the end so I was taken seriously. My apologies.
it has always been like that , but strict alt mode license and engineering combine with hasbro frequent redistribution costing change can make lots of changes toward MPM production.
that's the main reason im very surprise with this MPM8
I hope not fully took over everything MPM wise.... otherwise we are going to see Starscream come out as a $400 figure despite being smaller than megs....
Megs is a giant and $180. I'm keeping my hope.
Do you think Hasbro was less hands on with cost redistribution on this one?
You actually did them a big favor. I was horrified with some of the qc issues with some of my previous MPM(seriously, I had one that really should've never made it out of the factory)'s but now I look forward to MPM Megatron eagerly.
he's actually $150, but again, thats most likely thanks to hasbro who actually wants these to be affordable... now if you look at the non-movie masterpieces... yeah... no... Takara is ripping us off. Those figures even have less diecast than the MPM's.....
If you get crowbar I get crankcase!
Thatonefoo used the sarcasm tag so I know they were messing around. Unicron the Chaos Bringer, however. Watch out for that guy. He beat up my grandpa once.
unintended Wing mode ( not sure if official? but work beautifully well)
base on this official promotional video for MPM8. Thanks to Counter656
I'm smirking with joy. He looks sooo good! He's a must buy for me anyway, but it's great to have solid proof that people at toy fairs really don't know how to pose figures.
I have a brand new copy so I'm happy to accommodate if you're serious about it.
I will buy two!
Hi! First off, Thank you for all the information you have kindly provided us with.
May I ask where are the ratchet joints?!
Sorry I was joking about that. I tend to not use blue text whenever I think that something is too obviously sarcastic, so whoops lmao.
@BIOMEC I'm pretty sure he said that there were ratchets in the arms and hips, and especially for the hips, there are ratchets going front and back, and side to side, which means you're all covered.
Tbh, now that I've seen in hand pics I'm much more hyped for this piece. And interchangeable hands, means that a 3rd party company can make better hands and a better mace or cannon down the line. Goddamn I love this abusive relationship I have with HasTak
Does production piece mean it is or isn't a final version. They might yet be able to screw something up...
The figure has gone into mainline production , not in prototype anymore. I received x copies and the quality is very good.
