i still have yet to figure out the transformation but gonna give you guy some insight first.
first of all my production piece miss the clear red eye piece so I went ahead and put some putty and paint it red. Also paint the inner mouth black to add depth.
Head is very easy to disassemble. Just pick out the screw holes cover , punch the metal rod at the jaw out and you are good to go.
    Onto the figure.

I will just go ahead and say DAAAAAMNNNNNN this figure is miles different then the previous figure in many ways.\
Sculpt wise? Insanely wild literally. Just look at this figure. holy shit.
    even the Cube
    [IMG]
the bicep area is kinda weird because it sculpts in a bending motion , but i guess it's accurate. Doesnt affect posing in a slightest.

The back of figure. Decent compact , mostly the wing parts.
There's the action base hole but I doubt any base would be able to hold it.
I have yet to define where is diecast part but there's one hinged piece on the back that is surely diecast.
The figure is pretty hefty , not like the like of fanstoys , but it's might be slightly heavier than MP36.

Paint wise , the grey part are actually bare grey plastic with silver flickle particle on it to have a pseudo metallic surface, maintain the playability.
Gold paint were used a lot througout the body. There are silver paint too. Teeth is painted white.
About material , there are lots of area with SOFT PLASTICS at those pointy part or very small parts to minimize breakage possible. It's quite a lot of soft part but overall handling the figure , it's rare to make contact with those soft parts.
I find it odd that the silver collar pieces are soft plastic. Maybe I will cover it in later transformation gallery.

Articulation is where this figure shines the most above all the MPM figures. It can pull off lots of menacing pose. I find the neck area very interesting because it can be pull out on a hinge to make staring pose like this
    [IMG]
or pull head up and roar like this
    [IMG]

The feet has both ankle tilt and also forward/ backward movement! But the contact point is an odd one but very functional. Tolerance can be improve by tighten the screws.

The articulation is so good I guaranteed the pose like this is piece of cake
    [IMG]

Ratchets are very strong and satisfying. Can hold Ironhide on both arm with no problem. Just watch out of the feet balancing.

    Accessories.
This extension piece is junk , but work if you have action base to pose it. Just soft plastic. Not bendable. Can't hold the pose.

The Beam gun though (dont know , is it?) is another story. I love it.
You can put it on one hand. Switch out the hand it's easy , just pull it out.

    I love this one.

    Size comparison.

So it seems this size of MP figure is possible now.
Can we have Grimlock movie and G1 2.0 ?

I will cover transformation in next gallery!

The backpack is a bit bigger than I originally thought, but it will work for me. I'm also a little disappointed by the made weapon and all the soft plastic. But overall, this looks amazing. Thanks for sharing!

Please dear god tell me there’s ratchet joints in the hips for side to side movement? I don’t need another floppy mess like my KO Optimus. Great pictures though, thanks for sharing here

The rubbery materials are usually vinyl instead of rubber, which means it probably is gonna be fine. This goes for what most people call "rubber" tires on figures

finished the transformation. WOW! I don't have the manual , trying to do slowly while thinking which pieces go where base on the festival prototype pieces. But all the pieces tabbing together so well and the step are actually very easy! resulting in a massive alien aircraft. Everything tabbed together solidly. Love it so much!!
Thinking back to previous MPM , this one is so great.

the cube fit inside the chest in both modes tho , i forgot to put it in ^^
