How much is it gonna cost?
Im paying about £140 for it
Hmm, that's about $182 U.S. Not bad, if they fixed the issues I've heard this figure has.
So it’s true then. Thanks for sharing. I have a hybrid v1 / v2 that’s had more donor parts and repairs than I care to remember. I wonder if this version will have any improvements.
Still easily the best Rodimus out there in terms of looks. Might have to pick up a 3rd copy of this guy when this reissue drops off if they really did implement new fixes and tolerances, even though the 2 in my display have had no issues. I love MP09.
I'm surprised more pre-orders haven't popped up for this. I held off on getting the original and really didn't want the DX9 version.
Any idea of the price?
Hmmm. When Takara was getting ready to pull the curtain back on Prime v. 3.0 they first milked the MP-10 mold for all it was worth. I wonder if there could be a similar pattern here?
...oh snap; it's real!..
...such a better-looking figure than MP-28...
"Long Life Design" is a bit ironic for a toy with such fundamental design issues.
Doubt there's any improvements to it. Takara can pocket the revenue from another run of this, but act like it's nothing to do with them when there's complaints.
Pls someone post reliable Chinese sellers on eBay when this drops ... I really want this as a completionist but with its known issues and the likelihood of a new-mold Rodimus Prime drop over the next few yrs I dnt think I could go over $200 on this guy unfortunately ...
Hit the Nail on the head .
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me...fool me a third time...err...umm..I wont be fooled again.
I would love to see a non-prep’d debate btw Dubya and Cheetolino ... pure comedy gold ...
Oh snap sounds about right for this figure sadly.
That said, my Hasbro one still stands tall all original parts and everything. I am scared to touch him too much though
It sounds like WJ is going to create MPP09!)
P.S With the original fixes!
Did they fix any issues with this mold?
This \'recycled\' Rodimus does look nice, and he certainly has some great looking features and accessories.. but one gripe I have with it from the get-go, as well as other masterpiece figures, has to do with the matrix. Its literally cast in diecast with a plastic center, it isnt detailed or screen accurate, and it doesnt open like it should. One reason I love the MP-01. Prime so much is besides his chunky size, hes withstood the years fairly well, proving to be far more sturdy than the more recent Mp\'s. And of course, the matrix he comes with may also be missing some much needed detail, but at least his can be opened, letting you put him and other figures who can hold it into some pretty dynamic scenes.
However I\'ll give this Rodimus points for actually having his trailer unlike the last handful of releases, and it seems he comes with Hot Rod\'s face as well. So in all, I think its worth picking up when I can afford it someday.
