    Oh, I should get me some fancy white gloves or a fine polishing cloth as not to leave fingerprints on that lovely chrome once I get this in hand.
    In all seriousness though I can't wait to get this stunning toy. Him facing off against MP-10 will be the highlight of my collection.

    I've always been critical of MP because of the high price tag, overly complicated transformations, fragile feel of the plastic, and QC issues that have plagued some figures. But dang, this figure looks awesome.

    Gorgeous figure! I'll track it down as soon as I can; G1 Megs was my very first Transformer and this brings me back! I really do want Takara to keep up with these alt figures based on the original toy looks!

    Article ignores the fact that MP36+ is NOT the first masterpiece figure to use + to signify toy accurate version. Shockwave was.

    Yup, I myself thought that Shockwave was Toy colors, but the official description and listings are clearly "Anime color version"

    I know this isn't gonna be everyone's cup of tea, it's an oddity for sure, but for what it is the only way it could be better is if the vac-metallized parts were polished die cast. This looks really terrific, and the etched swirl patterns instead of stickers is a real delight.

    I like to think that toy Megatron sounds like how he does in the audio books. They don’t even try to replicate the cartoon voices. Give it a listen if you never heard it before. Jump to 15:00 to hear Megatron speak.
