My Acid Storm's tail fins fly off all the time, Thundercracker once in a while, but Sunstorm's tail fins have never popped off for me

Anyone having an issue connecting him to his stand in jet mode? The tab almost seems like it's the wrong shape. It's the same set up as Acid Storm and I never had an issue with that one.

I do love this figure!
I wonder if Reprolabels are going to do a set for him? I know they do a Sunstorm set, but it was for an older version of the figure.

 

My TRU was selling him for $87.99. I told them when I called that I see it online for $79.99. They price matched without hesitation. If they wont price match, then just order it online, free shipping since it is over $50. Just picked up my second one of these yesterday to make into a custom!

Finally got it to fit! I think I needed some moral support.

 

The stand was designed for MP-3 mold but kudos getting the Storms to fit.

 

Well, I finally got a chance to open mine today...and I love him! The flames and bronze look great in person IMO. Would I prefer he didn't have the red underwear? Sure. Does that ruin this figure for me? Not even close.

My only small issues are that I have a tail fin that likes to pop off and his fingers seem to want to pop off if my try to move the outer most joint.

However, other than those small issues - this is the most most secure MP seeker I have owned so far (and I have most of them). I can even pick him up by his chest and he doesn't flop around at all.

So I am very happy with my purchase and I would highly recommend picking him up for 80 shipped online.

 

Holy Crap these price inconsistencies!!!!!

 

Check the fingers. A lot of Sunstorms are shipping with fingers and thumbs assembled backwards, that's why they keep popping off (instead of folding into the palm, they fold into the back of the hand) simply rotate the fingers at the balljoint to fix it.

 

The chest piece that the stand fits into is the same for MP-3 & MP-11.

Finished transforming mine a couple times and everything went great. He does shine the most in alt mode - which is perfect for me because I was planning on keeping my makeshift rainmakers in jet mode anyway. For now my MP-03 will have to lead the pack until hopefully an MP hailstorm is released.

 

I had the same issues with mine. The new tabs are great though and the flames in the paint job were a great surprise, though I still wish there was a darker yellow color overall.
The figure on the box isn't the mold for the figure inside though...thank goodness.
