When u say Sunstorm, the above is what has been pictured in my mind. I want that deco so bad.

 

I understand that's what he wants, what I was saying is the deco is spot-on for what they intended it to be: Sunstorm from the RotF game.

He's free to not like the deco, but the character has had multiple decos over the years and this toy is spot on to the one the chose to replicate.

 

While I liked the liberties they took with acid storm what they did with Sunstorm was not even close to anything resembling g1. And I'm not quite sure how he compares to the rotf game bc I dont really like anything branded under Micheal bay. They could've used more or an orange base for one (maybe even movie bb yellow which was more orange), but I do like the flames. His arms and feet should've been white and head blk. It really looks like a ko imho. I can't even display him with my other Sunstorm figs bc he doesn't look like them.

 

ie: The one from a Bayformers game which most G1/Masterpiece collectors probably haven't played.

Micheal bay is probably the worst thing to ever happen to TFs. But I will admit he brought TFs back into the mainstream. Only problem is everything movie sucks. Especially this new movie line. I mean its like they didn't even try this time. Almost every deluxe is a 1-5 step transformation. Sorry but TFs line will continue to go south as long as MB has a part of anything. Hound looks like bulkhead (with a cigar duhr), swoop is now strafe with 2 heads. The whole premise is just stupid now

 

Except it's not. Spot on will be orange. The MP toy is yellow instead. Most people can tell the difference.

 

The toy is not even close to the pic you posted. The wings the null rays the head. Only the feet and legs. Imma have to paint his chest at the very least to make him look somewhat like the character he shares the same name with. They could have at least used the same design from the takara ver. I can't even stand to look at this piece of garbage.

Kinda amazed there are people complaining about it. We've had pics of this deco of the character for months from various shows/cons. Unless your only exposure to this release was the box art, I don't see how anyone can be surprised or "pissed" by his appearance.

Did people expect MP-11S to magically appear in the box or something?

 

I wanted to take an MP-11S back in the TRU Thundercracker package when those were selling. Just leave it on a shelf and wait to see who found it.

I actually do like Sunstorm, far better in person than the pics suggest.

I can easily see complaining about the piece of shit tail fins that fall off if you look at them cross eyed or floppy ass wings in robot mode, like the rest of this style mold have as well.

Hopefully one day they make one with colors that match the G1 seeker style Sunstorm in blinding orange though.
